Imported. fill material should be approved <br />by the Soil-Engineer prior to importing. <br />Soils having a significant expansion <br />potential should not be used as import <br />fill. ·The Soil Engineer should be <br />notified not less than 72 hours in <br />advance of the location of any soil or <br />base course material proposed for import. <br />Each proposed import source should be <br />sampled, tested and approved by the Soil <br />Engineer prior to delivery of soils for <br />use on the site. <br />7.2.6 Excavating Conditions <br />a.We anticipate that excavation of on-site <br />materials may be accomplished with stan- <br />dard earthmoving or trenching equipment. <br />b. Groundwater was not encountered in the <br />course of this investigation, and is not <br />expected to affect grading operations. <br />7.2.7 Expansive Soils <br />a.
