Satnick <br />784 San Lorenzo St. <br />Santa Monica, Ca. <br />Dear Mr. Satnick: <br />S':bject: Required Seismic Rehabilitation for the Buildi.ng at <br />4 h 1,1 n Stre t Santa Ana <br />Described as Orange County Assessor s Parcel No. 398 258 09 <br />The purpose of this letter is to again inform you of the requirements of the Cityof Santa y'.na's Seismic Safety 0rdinance (Article XI Chapter 8, Santa Ana Municipal Code). <br />The tirne for submittal for an application for an appeal or for alternate classifi- <br />cation or for a pernit for partial repaj.rs as provided for in the 0rdinance has expired. <br />Thj.s letter is to inform you that under the provisions of the Ordinance the ouner is <br />required to provide a structural analysis prepared by a licensed structural engineer, <br />civil engineer or architect. This structural analysis, toSether Lrith pLans and caI- <br />culations necessary for corrective vork, is tc be submitted to the Cityrs Department <br />of Planning and Development Services for revieu by April 24, 1984. Permits re quired to <br />Theaccomplish the necessary structural alterations must be obtained by July 29, 1984. <br />required alterations must conmence within one hundred eighty (180) days from the date <br />the pernit !s issued, and the building nust be corrected to neet the minimum require- <br />ments of the 0rdinance not laier than July 29, 1986, A s you should be auare, this is <br />the same infornation provided you in the ori8lnal Notice and Order sent to you on <br />July 29, 1983. <br />The consequences of failing to comply vith any of the dates of the Ordinance are that <br />you vill be required to vacaLe the buildin8 and leave it vacant until such time that <br />you have completed the seismic rehabilitatj.on vork or you nay be required to demolish <br />the structure. In additionr you nay be subject to criminal or civil action taken by <br />the City Attorney.
