Additional markings shall be permitted based uponthe specific system configuration.CEC 690.13(E) Type of Disconnect. The PV system disconnecting means shallsimultaneously disconnect the PV system conductors that are not solidly groundedfrom all conductors of other wiring systems. The PV system disconnecting means orits remote operating device or the enclosure providing access to the disconnectingmeans shall be capable of being locked in accordance with 110.25.CEC 690.15(B) An isolating device shall not be required to have an interruptingrating. Where an isolating device is not rated for interrupting the circuit current, it shallbe marked "Do Not Disconnect Under Load" or "Not for Current Interrupting." Anisolating device shall not be required to simultaneously disconnect all current-carryingconductors of a circuit.CEC 690.31(B)(1) PV system dc circuit conductors shall be identified at alltermination, connection, and splice points by color coding, marking tape, tagging, orother approved means.CEC 690.31(D)(2) Unless located and arranged so the purpose is evident, the following wiringmethods and enclosures that contain PV system dc circuit conductors shall be marked with thewording PHOTOVOLTAIC POWER SOURCE or SOLAR PV DC CIRCUIT by means ofpermanently affixed labels or other approved permanent marking.CEC 690.31(D)(2) PV system dc circuit labels shall appear on every section of the wiringsystem that is separated by enclosures, walls, partitions, ceilings, or floors. Spacing betweenlabels or markings, or between a label and a marking, shall not be more than 3 m (10 ft).Labels required in this section shall be suitable for the environment where they are installed.CEC 690.31(E) Solidly-grounded bipolar PV systems shall be clearly marked with apermanent, legible warning notice indicating that the disconnection of the groundedconductor(s) may result in overvoltage on the equipment.CEC 690.33(D)(2) Interruption of Circuit. Connectors shall be a type that requires the use of atool to open and marked “Do Not Disconnect Under Load” or “Not for Current Interrupting”.CEC 690.6 Alternating-current (AC) modules and systems: The PV source circuit, conductors, and inverters shall be considered as internal components of an ac module or ac modulesystem.CEC 690.53 A permanent readily visible label indicating the highestmaximum dc voltage in a PV system, calculated in accordance with 690.7,shall be provided by the installer.CEC 690.54 All interactive system(s) points of interconnection with othersources shall be marked at an accessible location at the disconnectingmeans as a power source and with the rated ac output current and thenominal operating ac voltage.CEC 690.55 The PV system output circuit conductors shall be marked toindicate polarity where connected to energy storage systems.CEC 690.56(A) Plaques or directories shall be installed in accordance with705.10.CEC 690.56(C)(2) A rapid shutdown switch shall have a label located onor no more than 1 meter (3 ft) from the switch.CEC 690.59 PV systems connected to other sources shall be installed inaccordance with Parts I and II of Article 705 and Article 712.SOLAR ELECTRICPV PANELSSOLAR PV SYSTEM EQUIPPEDWITH RAPID SHUTDOWNTURN RAPID SHUTDOWNSWITCH ON THE"OFF" POSITION TOSHUTDOWN PV SYSTEMAND REDUCESHOCK HAZARDIN ARRAYCFC 1205.4.1(1) & CEC 690.56(C)CEC 690.56(C)(2)CEC 690.31(D)(2)CEC 690.31(D)(2)CONDUIT RATED AC OPERATING CURRENT:NOMINAL OPERATING AC VOLTAGE:PHOTOVOLTAIC AC DISCONNECTWARNINGRATED AC OPERATING CURRENT:NOMINAL OPERATING AC VOLTAGE:PHOTOVOLTAIC AC DISCONNECTRATED AC OPERATING CURRENT:NOMINAL OPERATING AC VOLTAGE:PHOTOVOLTAIC AC DISCONNECTMAIN PHOTOVOLTAICSYSTEM DISCONNECTWARNINGCAUTIONPHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEM CIRCUIT IS BACKFEDWARNINGPOWER SOURCE OUTPUTCONNECTION.
