Square off with the strut to insure a straight <br />tilt up leg. Tighten down with a 3/8" lock washer. (see <br />illustration) <br />B: Set in the rear Tilt Up leg (square tube): <br />Place the tilt up leg (square tube) in the center of the <br />bracket. Align the holes of the tube with the holes in <br />the lower bracket. Insert a 5/16" x 2" socket cap bolt <br />with a lock washer through the holes. Do not tighten <br />yet. <br />C: Attach the upper (tapped) tilt up bracket to the <br />square tube: Place the upper bracket (tapped) on top <br />of the tube. Align the holes of the tube with the holes <br />in the lower bracket. Insert a 5/16" x 2" socket cap <br />bolt with a lock washer through the holes. Do not <br />tighten yet. <br />STEP 2-WHEN USING THE FAST JACK <br />ATTACH THE FRONT LEG ASSEMBLY: <br />3/8" x 1-1/2" Hex Bolt/ <br />- flatwasher <br />(not included in kit) <br />Bolt LowerTilt Up <br />/ - Bracket (this bracket is <br />5/16" Lock Washe counter-bored and wider <br />than the upperbracket) <br />3/8" Bolt/ <br />Flat Washer <br />/ \4 <br />Strut (to create/P v <br />grid patten»91 <br />3 <br />3/8" Grab Nut <br />Residential <br />FastJack <br />professionaISOLARproducts <br />A: Attach the lower (counter-bored) tilt up bracket to <br />the strut: <br />Place the lower tilt up bracket (non-threaded) over the <br />grab nut with the serrated surface facing down. Square <br />off with the strut to ensure a straight tilt up leg. Tighten <br />down with a 3/8" lock washer and 3/8" hex bolt com- <br />bination. (see illustration) <br />B: Attach the upper (hollow) tilt up bracket to the <br />lower bracket: Place the upper bracket (hollow) inside <br />top of the lower bracket. Align the holes of the upper <br />bracket with the holes in the lower bracket. Insert a <br />5/16" x 2" socket cap bolt with a lock washer through <br />the holes.
