SANTA ANA BLVD. <br />ALONG WITH TO THE BUILDING LOBBY ELEVATOR <br />TO THE PARKING GARAGES <br />THE FOLLOWING ARE INSTRUCTIONS FOR CORING THROUGH THE POST-TENSION <br />CONCRETE SLABS: <br />1.BEFORE CORING THROUGH THE EXISTING POST-TENSION CONCRETE SLABS, <br />THE CONTRACTOR SHALL USE BOTH A GPR SCOPE AND X-RAY SCOPE TO <br />LOCATE POST-TENSION CABLES, ELECTRICAL CONDUIT, WATER PIPES, AND <br />OTHER ITEMS IN THE POST-TENSION CONCRETE SLABS. <br />2.THE X-RAY SCOPE SHALL BE PREFORMED DURING OFF HOURS OF THE <br />TENANT'S BUSINESS HOURS. <br />3.IF THE CONTRACTOR FINDS CONFLICTS IN THE DRAWINGS LAYOUT IN <br />REGARDS TO THE EXISTING CONDITIONS DISCOVERED BY THE X-RAY <br />SCOPE,THE GC SHALL CONTACT THE ONE ARCHITECTURE FOR DIRECTION ON <br />THE DESIGN LAYOUT CHANGES. <br />4.ANY CHANGES TO THE DRAWINGS LAYOUT WILL NEED APPROVAL FROM ONE <br />ARCHITECTURE PRIOR TO CORING THE POST-TENSION SLAB. <br />5.ADDITIONAL X-RAY OF THE POST TENSION CONCRETE SLAB MAYBE REQUIRED <br />IN AIDING CHANGES TO THE DESIGN LAYOUT PROPOSED BY THE ARCHITECT. <br />6.THE POST TENSION CABLES LAYOUT VARIES IN THE SPACING BETWEEN THE <br />POST TENSION CABLES. <br />7.DO NOT DAMAGE THE EXISTING REINFORCING OR TENDONS. <br />Post-Tension Concrete <br />Slab General Notes <br />A. AND 20'-0" LONG MIN. <br />-ACCESS AISLE SHALL PROVIDE 5-0' WIDE AND SHALL EXTEND THE FULL <br />LENGTH OF THE VEHICLE PULL-UP SPACE OF 20'-0" MIN. <br />-ACCESS AISLE SHALL BE MARKED WITH BLUE PAINTED BORDERLINE AROUND <br />THE PERIMETER.
