<br />1.OCCUPANCY SENSOR AND CONTROL ACCESSORIES SHALL BE U.L. AND C.E.C. CERTIFIED.

<br />AND PROPER VOLUMETRIC COVERAGE PER THE MANUFACTURER'S RECOMMENDATIONS. ROOMS SHALL HAVE NINETY (90) TO ONE
<br />HUNDRED (100) PERCENT COVERAGE AND SHALL ACCOMMODATE ALL HABITS OF SINGLE OR MULTIPLE OCCUPANTS AT ANY LOCATION
<br />WITHIN THE ROOM. THE LOCATIONS AND QUANTITIES OF SENSORS SHOWN ON THE DRAWINGS ARE DIAGRAMMATIC AND INDICATE ONLY
<br />THE ROOMS THAT ARE TO BE PROVIDED WITH SENSORS. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE PROVIDE ADDITIONAL SENSORS AS
<br />REQUIRED TO PROPERLY AND COMPLETELY COVER THE RESPECTIVE ROOM. ADDITIONALLY, IT MAY BE NECESSARY FOR THE
<br />CONTRACTOR TO MAKE ADJUSTMENTS, CHANGE THE LOCATION OR TYPE OF SENSOR TO OBTAIN PROPER OPERATION IN A SPECIFIC
<br />ROOM. THE USE OF FACTORY SUPPLIED INTERNAL MASKING (PIR) SHALL BE PROVIDED AND INSTALLED AS REQUIRED TO LIMIT DETECTION
<br />TO WITHIN THE CONTROLLED SPACE ONLY. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL HAVE FINAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR PROPER OPERATION OF THE
<br />SYSTEM IN EACH ROOM AND SHOULD THEREFORE MAKE LABOR ALLOWANCES FOR CHANGES AND ADJUSTMENTS.
<br />5.CEILING MOUNTED SENSORS SHOULD BE LOCATED IN THE SPACE TO BE COVERED, A MINIMUM OF 4', PREFERABLY 5' AWAY FROM THE
<br />LATCH SIDE OF THE DOOR, 2" TO 3" AWAY FROM THE WALL AND 3' TO 4' FROM AN AIR SUPPLY REGISTER. DO NOT MOUNT SENSORS OVER
<br />A DOORWAY OR BEHIND A FULL HEIGHT DOOR. SENSORS SHALL BE AIMED IN THE DIRECTION OF THE SPACE TO BE COVERED. DO NOT AIM
<br />SENSORS TOWARD A DOORWAY.
<br />6.UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED ON THE DRAWINGS, ALL SENSORS SHALL BE ADJUSTED FOR A TIME DELAY OF TWENTY (20) MINUTES.
<br />7.PROPER JUDGEMENT MUST BE EXERCISED IN EXECUTING THE INSTALLATION SO AS TO ENSURE THE BEST POSSIBLE INSTALLATION IN
<br />THE AVAILABLE SPACE AND TO OVERCOME LOCAL DIFFICULTIES DUE TO SPACE LIMITATIONS OR INTERFERENCE OF BUILDING
<br />STRUCTURAL COMPONENTS. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL ALSO PROVIDE, AT THE PROJECT, THE TRAINING NECESSARY TO FAMILIARIZE THE
<br />OWNER'S PERSONNEL WITH THE OPERATION, USE, MAINTENANCE, ADJUSTMENT AND PROBLEM SOLVING DIAGNOSIS OF THE OCCUPANCY
<br />SENSING DEVISED AND SYSTEMS.
<br />8.INTERCONNECT ALL DEVICES AS REQUIRED. UNLESS PROHIBITED BY LOCAL CODE, INTERCONNECTING SHALL BE MADE WITH
<br />PLENUM-RATED CABLING ROUTED NEATLY INTO AND ABOVE THE ACCESSIBLE CEILING. CABLES SHALL BE SUPPORTED WITH DEDICATED
<br />SUPPORT WIRES AND J-HOOKS. WHERE LOCAL CODE REQUIRES LOW VOLTAGE CABLING TO BE ROUTED IN CONDUIT, INCLUDE ALL COSTS
<br />IN BASE BID TO PROVIDE APPROPRIATLEY-SIZED SYSTEM OF CONDUITS AND JUNCTION BOXES TO ROUTE INTERCONNECTION CABLING.
<br />J-BOXES/CONTROLLERS SHALL BE LOCATED ABOVE ACCESSIBLE CEILINGS AND NEVER IN HARD-LID CEILING AREAS.
<br />9.WHERE CODE OR LOCAL AHJ REQUIREMENTS REQUIRE THE INSTALLATION OF ALL LOW-VOLTAGE CONDUCTORS TO BE INSTALLED IN
<br />CONDUIT - CONTRACTOR TO PROVIDE ALL REQUIRED MANUFACTURER SPECIFIC EQUIPMENT JUNCTION BOXES AND CONDUIT ADAPTORS
<br />AS REQUIRED.
<br />10.AS PART OF THE "RECORD DRAWINGS" INDICATE ON THE REFLECTED CEILING PLAN THE EXACT LOCATION (CEILING TILE OR ACCESS
<br />PANEL) OF ANY ABOVE CEILING DEVICE.
<br />11.OCCUPANCY SENSOR CONTROLLED RECEPTACLE BRANCH CIRCUIT RELAY SHALL BE CONNECTED TO CEILING MOUNTED OCCUPANCY
<br />SENSOR. RELAY SHALL TURN ON WHEN THE ROOM IS OCCUPIED, REGARDLESS OF THE CONFIGURATION OF THE LIGHTING CONTROL
<br />STATE.
<br />12.LOW VOLTAGE WALL SWITCH CONTROLS SHALL BE DECORA STYLE, LOW-VOLTAGE, MOMENTARY SWITCHES WITH COLOR TO MATCH
<br />OTHER WALL DEVICES AND SWITCHES. LOWER CASE LETTERS INDICATE SWITCHING CONFIGURATION. PROVIDE SWITCHING OR DIMMING
<br />CONTROL DEVICES AS REQUIRED BY DRAWINGS.
<br />13.OCCUPANCY SENSOR AND CONTROL ACCESSORIES SHALL BE MANUFACTURED BY COOPER CONTROLS, LUTRON, HUBBLE, LEVITON, AND
<br />WATTSTOPPER.
<br />14.THE OCCUPANTS SENSING CONTROLS WILL PROVIDE ON/OFF CONTROL AUTOMATICALLY TO REDUCE LIGHTING POWER BY AT LEAST 50%
<br />WHEN THE AREAS ARE UNOCCUPIED FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS AND CONTROLS NO OTHER AREAS.
<br />1.THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FURNISHING OF ALL MATERIAL, LABOR, EQUIPMENT, AND
<br />SERVICES, IN CONNECTION WITH THE INSTALLATION OF A COMPLETE AND FULLY FUNCTIONING AND CODE
<br />COMPLIANT INSTALLATION.
<br />2.IT IS THE INTENT OF THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS, WHICH ARE PRESENTED IN A DIAGRAMMATIC FORMAT, TO
<br />PROVIDE CONTRACTOR INFORMATION THAT SUPPLEMENTS AND ENHANCES THE GENERALLY ACCEPTED
<br />CONSTRUCTION MEANS, METHODS, TECHNIQUES, SEQUENCES AND PROCEDURES EMPLOYED IN CONNECTION
<br />WITH INSTALLATION OF THIS TYPE OF PRODUCT/SYSTEM.
<br />3.THE CONTRACTOR SHALL ALSO INCORPORATE THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE MANUFACTURER'S INSTALLATION
<br />INSTRUCTIONS/WARRANTY REQUIREMENTS AS PART OF THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE CONSTRUCTION
<br />DOCUMENTS. IN THE EVENT OF A CONFLICT BETWEEN THE CONTRACT DOCUMENT REQUIREMENTS AND THE
<br />MANUFACTURERS INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS, THE MORE STRINGENT REQUIREMENTS SHALL APPLY - UNLESS
<br />THE MORE STRINGENT REQUIREMENT VOIDS APPLICABLE WARRANTIES OR VIOLATES THE REQUIREMENTS OF
<br />THE LOCAL AUTHORITY HAVING JURISDICTION. ANY SUCH CONFLICT SHALL IMMEDIATELY BE BROUGHT TO THE
<br />ATTENTION OF THE ENGINEER IN WRITING THROUGH THE FORMAL RFI PROCESS.
<br />4.REFER TO THE ASSOCIATED SCHEDULES, SCHEMATICS, DRAWINGS, AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR DETAILED
<br />INFORMATION/REQUIREMENTS ON THIS PRODUCT/SYSTEM.
<br />5.SHOP DRAWINGS SHALL BE SUBMITTED PER THE GENERAL SPECIFICATION REQUIREMENTS SHOWING ALL
<br />COMPONENTS, WIRING CONFIGURATIONS AND PROGRAMMING SCHEDULES. SUBMITTALS SHALL BE MADE
<br />SPECIFIC TO THE PROJECT - GENERIC SUBMITTALS SHALL BE REJECTED.
