Round 1 Bowling and Amusement 12/09/2024 Paradigm Design <br />Main Place Mall Expansion Grand Rapids, MI <br />Santa Ana, California <br />Project #2309147GR <br />SELECTIVE DEMOLITION 02 4119 - 2 <br />1.4 MATERIALS OWNERSHIP <br />A.Unless otherwise indicated, demolition waste becomes property of Contractor. <br />1.5 INFORMATIONAL SUBMITTALS <br />A.Proposed Protection Measures: Submit report, including Drawings, that indicates the measures <br />proposed for protecting individuals and property, for environmental protection, for dust control. <br />Indicate proposed locations and construction of barriers. <br />B.Schedule of Selective Demolition Activities: Indicate the following: <br />1.Detailed sequence of selective demolition and removal work, with starting and ending <br />dates for each activity. Ensure Landlord's Operations Manager and other Tenants' on-site <br />operations are uninterrupted. <br />2.Interruption of utility services. Indicate how long utility services will be interrupted. <br />3.Coordination for shutoff, capping, and continuation of utility services. <br />4.Coordination of adjacent Tenant's continuing occupancy of the existing lease area. <br />1.6 FIELD CONDITIONS <br />A.Landlord and multiple Tenant’s will occupy portions of building immediately adjacent to and <br />below selective demolition area. Conduct selective demolition so Landlord's and Tenant’s <br />operations will not be disrupted. <br />B.Notify Architect of discrepancies between existing conditions and Drawings before proceeding <br />with any selective demolition. <br />C.Storage or sale of removed items or materials on-site is not permitted. <br />D.Utility Service: Maintain existing utilities indicated to remain in service and protect them against <br />damage during selective demolition operations. <br />1.Maintain fire-protection facilities in service during selective demolition operations. <br />1.7 WARRANTY <br />A.Existing Warranties: Remove, replace, patch, and repair materials and surfaces cut or damaged <br />during selective demolition, by methods and with materials and using approved contractors so as <br />not to void existing warranties. <br />B.Notify warrantor on completion of selective demolition, and obtain documentation verifying that <br />existing system has been inspected and warranty remains in effect. Submit documentation at <br />Project closeout.
