Round 1 Bowling and Amusement 12/09/2024 Paradigm Design <br />Main Place Mall Expansion Grand Rapids, MI <br />Santa Ana, California <br />Project #2309147GR <br />c.Mechanical Equipment Rooms: Ordinary Hazard, Group 1. <br />d.Office and Public Areas: Light Hazard. <br />3.Maximum Protection Area per Sprinkler: Per UL listing and latest edition of NFPA-13. <br />D.Seismic Performance: Sprinkler piping shall withstand the effects of earthquake motions <br />determined according to NFPA 13 and the California Fire Sprinkler Code. <br />1.6 SUBMITTALS <br />A.Product Data: For each type of product indicated.Include rated capacities, operating <br />characteristics, electrical characteristics, and furnished specialties and accessories. <br />B.Shop Drawings: For wet-pipe sprinkler systems. Include plans, elevations, sections, details, <br />calculations, and attachments to other work. <br />1.Wiring Diagrams: For power, signal, and control wiring. <br />C.Delegated-Design Submittal: For sprinkler systems indicated to comply with performance <br />requirements and design criteria, including analysis data signed and sealed by the qualified <br />NICET professional responsible for their preparation. <br />D.Qualification Data: For qualified Installer. <br />E.Approved Sprinkler Piping Drawings: Working plans, prepared according to NFPA 13, that <br />have been approved by authorities having jurisdiction, including hydraulic calculations if <br />applicable. <br />F.Welding certificates. <br />G.Fire-hydrant flow test report. <br />H.Field Test Reports and Certificates: Indicate and interpret test results for compliance with <br />performance requirements and as described in NFPA 13. Include "Contractor's Material and <br />Test Certificate for Aboveground Piping." <br />I.Field quality-control reports. <br />J.Operation and Maintenance Data: For sprinkler specialties to include in emergency, operation, <br />and maintenance manuals. <br />1.7 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A.Installer Qualifications: <br />1.Installer's responsibilities include designing, fabricating, and installing sprinkler systems <br />and providing design engineering services needed to assume engineering responsibility. <br />Base calculations on results of fire-hydrant flow test.
