<br />CIRCUITS IN THE PANELBOARD TO BALANCE THE PHASE LOADS WITHIN 20 PERCENT. TAKE
<br />CARE TO MAINTAIN PROPER PHASING FOR MULTI-WIRE BRANCH CIRCUITS.
<br />B. VISUAL AND MECHANICAL INSPECTION: INSPECT FOR PHYSICAL DAMAGE, PROPER ALIGNMENT,

<br />2.2 LIGHT EMITTING DIODE (LED) LUMINAIRE SYSTEMS
<br />A. REFER TO THE LUMINAIRE SCHEDULE FOR COLOR TEMPERATURE AND MINIMUM COLOR
<br />RENDERING INDEX CRI REQUIREMENTS. PROVIDE LIGHT SOURCE COLOR CONSISTENCY BY
<br />UTILIZING A BINNING TOLERANCE WITHIN A MAXIMUM 3-STEP MCADAM ELLIPSE UNLESS NOTED
<br />OTHERWISE.
<br />B. RATED LIFE SHALL BE MINIMUM OF 50,000 HOURS AT L70.
<br />C. LED CHIPS SHALL BE WIRED SO THAT FAILURE OF ONE CHIP DOES NOT PROHIBIT OPERATION
<br />OF THE REMAINDER OF THE CHIP ARRAY.
<br />D. LUMINAIRE DELIVERED LUMENS IS DEFINED AS THE ABSOLUTE LUMENS PER THE
<br />MANUFACTURERS LM-79-08 TEST REPORT.
<br />E. LED LUMINAIRES SHALL BE DESIGNED FOR EASE OF COMPONENT REPLACEMENT INCLUDING
<br />MODULAR REPLACEABLE BOARDS OR ZHAGA SOCKETS. LUMINAIRES THAT ARE FACTORY
<br />SEALED AND DO NOT HAVE FIELD REPLACEABLE PARTS SHALL PROVIDE A 10-YEAR WARRANTY.
<br />F. LED LIGHT ENGINE SHALL HAVE A MAXIMUM LLD OF 0.85 AT 50,000 HOURS AT 25°C AMBIENT.
<br />G. LED DRIVER:
<br />1. SOLID STATE DRIVER WITH INTEGRAL HEAT SINK. DRIVER SHALL HAVE OVER-HEAT, SHORT-
<br />CIRCUIT AND OVERLOAD PROTECTION, POWER FACTOR 0.90 OR ABOVE AND MAXIMUM
<br />TOTAL HARMONIC DISTORTION OF 10%. DRIVER SHALL HAVE A VOLTAGE FLUCTUATION
<br />TOLERANCE OF +/-10%.
<br />2. DRIVERS SHALL HAVE DIMMING CAPABILITIES AS OUTLINED IN THE LUMINAIRE SCHEDULE
<br />FOR EACH LUMINAIRE TYPE. DIMMING SHALL CONTROL LIGHT OUTPUT IN A CONTINUOUS
<br />CURVE FROM 100% TO 10% UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE.
<br />3. DRIVER SHALL HAVE A MINIMUM OF 50,000 HOURS RATED LIFE.
<br />4. DRIVER SHALL BE TESTED TO ANSI C82-16 FOR INPUT CURRENT INRUSH, TOTAL HARMONIC
<br />DISTORTION (THD), AND POWER FACTOR. DRIVER START TIME SHALL BE LESS THAN 0.5
<br />SECONDS TO 98% OF INITIAL LIGHT OUTPUT. FLICKER SHOULD BE LESS THAN 30%
<br />THROUGHOUT THE OPERATING RANGE.
<br />5. DRIVER SHALL BE FIELD REPLACEABLE WITHOUT REMOVAL OF THE LUMINAIRE.
<br />6. CLASS A SOUND RATING; INAUDIBLE IN A 27 DBA AMBIENT.
<br />7. DEMONSTRATE NO VISIBLE CHANGE IN LIGHT OUTPUT WITH A VARIATION OF PLUS OR
<br />MINUS 10 PERCENT CHANGE IN LINE-VOLTAGE INPUT.
<br />PART 3 -EXECUTION
<br />3.1 INSTALLATION
<br />A. SECURELY FASTEN LUMINAIRES TO THE LISTED AND LABELED CEILING FRAMING MEMBER BY
<br />MECHANICAL MEANS SUCH AS BOLTS, SCREWS, RIVETS OR LISTED CLIPS IDENTIFIED FOR USE
<br />WITH THE TYPE OF CEILING FRAMING MEMBERS. LUMINAIRES AND WIRING INSTALLED IN FIRE-
<br />RATED CEILING ASSEMBLIES SHALL BE INDEPENDENTLY SUPPORTED FOR ALL APPLICATIONS.
<br />1. INSTALL RECESSED FLANGED LUMINAIRES TO PERMIT REMOVAL FROM BELOW. USE
<br />MANUFACTURER-SUPPLIED PLASTER FRAMES AND SWING GATE SUPPORTS.
<br />B.DO NOT FASTEN LUMINAIRE SUPPORTS TO PIPING, DUCTWORK, MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT, OR
<br /> CONDUIT, UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED. SUPPORT WIRES SHALL BE TIGHTLY WRAPPED
<br /> (MINIMUM OF THREE TURNS WITHIN 3 INCHES OF THE CONNECTION) AND SHARPLY BEND TO
<br /> PREVENT VERTICAL MOVEMENT.
<br />C.SUPPORT WIRE USED TO INDEPENDENTLY SUPPORT LUMINAIRES, RACEWAYS, AND WIRING
<br /> SYSTEMS SHALL BE DISTINGUISHABLE FROM CEILING SUPPORT SYSTEMS BY COLOR (FIELD
<br /> PAINT), TAGGING OR EQUIVALENT MEANS.
<br />3.2 RELAMPING
<br />A. REPLACE FAILED LED LIGHT ENGINE MODULES OR ARRAYS AT COMPLETION OF WORK.

<br />A. ALIGN LUMINAIRES AND CLEAN LENSES AND DIFFUSERS AT COMPLETION OF WORK. CLEAN
