LAYOUT <br />Due to the scale of the drawings, it is not possible to indicate all offsets, fittings, <br />sleeves, etc., which may be required. The Contractor shall carefully investigate the <br />finished conditions affecting all of his work and plan his work accordingly, furnishing <br />such fittings, etc., as may be required to meet such conditions. Drawings are <br />generally diagrammatic and indicative of the work to be installed. The work shall be <br />installed in the most direct and workmanlike manner, so that conflicts between <br />irrigation systems, planting and hardscape features will be avoided. <br />D. GRADES <br />The Contractor shall carefully check all grades to ensure it is safe to proceed before <br />starting work on the sprinkler system. <br />5.01.04 INSPECTION <br />A. GENERAL <br />All inspections herein specified shall be made by the Engineer. The Contractor shall <br />request inspection at least two days in advance of the time inspection is required. <br />B. INSPECTION REQUIREMENT <br />Inspection will be required for the following parts of the work: <br />1. Staked out layout of all pressure supply lines, routing, and location of sprinkler <br />heads. <br />2. Pressure test and trench depth prior to backfill. <br />3. Pressure test prior to start, at Point of Connection. <br />4. Coverage test upon sprinkler system completion. <br />5. Final inspection upon completion of job, after plant material is in place. <br />PRODUCTS: <br />5.01.05 MATERIALS <br />A. REQUIREMENTS <br />All materials and equipment listed on the drawings and specifications will be subject <br />to the following: <br />1. The Contractor shall furnish the articles, equipment materials, or processes <br />specified by name in the drawings and specifications.
