CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />SPECIFICATIONS <br />PROJECT NO.: XX-XXXX <br />PROJECT TITLE <br /> <br />122 <br /> <br />5.02 LANDSCAPING <br />GENERAL: <br />5.02.01 RELATED DOCUMENTS <br />All irrigation work in Section 5.01, Irrigation, of these Special Provisions shall be <br />inspected and approved by the Engineer prior to commencing any landscaping work <br />in Section 5.02, Landscaping, of these Special Provisions. Approval shall be <br />obtained by the Contractor from the Engineer in written form. This should include <br />fully operational controllers verified in writing by a Calsense representative and <br />telephone connections verified by the City. <br />5.02.02 DRAWINGS AND SPECIFICATIONS <br />In the event of any changes in locations other than shown, the Contractor shall clearly <br />notify the Engineer and indicate such by signature of Contractor and Engineer such <br />changes on all sets of plans. <br />5.02.03 SUMMARY <br />A. Section includes: <br />1. Soil preparation and fertilization. <br />2. Planting operations. <br />3. Landscape planting materials. <br />4. Imported topsoil and planter mix. <br />5. Drainage materials in planters. <br />B. Provide landscape plantings in the areas shown on Drawings with plants in a healthy, <br />vigorous growing condition. Items not specifically shown in drawings or specified, <br />but normally required to conform with such intent, are considered part of the Work. <br />C. Include labor and equipment required to place, amend and fine grade the soil. Include <br />the cost of fertilizer as specified. <br />5.02.04 REFERENCES <br />A.
