Agricultural Code of California. <br />5.02.05 SUBMITTALS <br />A. PRODUCT DATA <br />Submit complete lists of materials proposed for use, giving the manufacturer's name, <br />catalog number, and catalog cut for each item where applicable within two (2) weeks <br />after award of bid. <br />B. SUBSTITUTIONS <br />1. If any plant specified is not obtainable, submit a written substitution request to the <br />Engineer during the bidding period. <br />2. Substitutions of plant materials will not be permitted unless authorized by the <br />Engineer. <br />C. SELECTION, TAGGING, AND ORDERING PLANT MATERIAL <br />1. Submit a request for inspection and documentation to Engineer at least one month <br />prior to start of landscape planting work for which plant material has been <br />ordered. Contractor shall also submit photographs of tagged plant material for the <br />Engineer to review for a preliminary approval prior to nursery inspections. <br />2. Contractor may exercise on-site option where plants can be delivered, but upon <br />inspection will be subject to approval or rejection at discretion of Engineer. <br />3. Plants shall be subject to inspection and rejection by Engineer at place of <br />conformity to this Specification. <br />D. IMPORTED TOPSOIL <br />1. Furnish the source of imported topsoil to the Engineer for approval. <br />2. Submit test results and schedule of recommended soil amendment adjustments <br />along with certificate of compliance to Engineer. <br />E. AGRONOMIC SOILS TEST REPORT <br />1. In accordance with requirements under Article 2.5 - Source Quality Control, <br />submit report to Engineer prior to preparation of soil amendment or ordering plant <br />material. <br />505 E Central Ave <br />#B11/6/2024
