Comply with requirements of ASTM E329 and ASTM D3740. <br /> <br /> B. Laboratory Staff: Maintain a full-time registered engineer on staff to review <br />services. <br /> <br /> C. Testing Equipment: Capable of performing tests required calibrated at <br />reasonable intervals with devices acceptable to the National Bureau of <br />Standards. <br /> <br /> D. All testing agency management, laboratory, and field supervisory personnel <br />shall have at least five years’ experience in the inspection and testing of work <br />and materials of construction. <br /> <br /> E. Testing laboratory shall maintain a current letter of acceptance issued by the <br />Division of the State Architect (DSA) demonstrating that it has met the criteria <br />established by the Division of the State Architect for performance of inspection <br />work and testing of materials. Laboratory to furnish copy of acceptance letter <br />upon request. <br /> <br /> 1.5 OWNER'S TESTING LABORATORY RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> <br /> A. Test samples of mixes submitted by Inspector. <br /> <br /> B. Provide qualified personnel at site. Cooperate with Architect and Contractor in <br />performance of services. <br /> <br /> C. Perform specified inspection, sampling, and testing of products in accordance <br />with specified standards. <br /> <br /> D. Ascertain compliance of materials and mixes with requirements of Contract <br />Documents. <br /> <br /> E. Promptly notify Architect and Contractor of observed irregularities or <br />nonconformance of Work or products. <br /> <br /> F. Perform additional inspections and tests required by Architect. <br /> <br /> G. Attend preconstruction conferences and progress meetings when requested by <br />Architect. <br /> <br /> 1.6 LABORATORY REPORTS <br /> <br /> A. After each inspection and test, promptly submit within no more than 14 days of <br />the date of the inspection or test one copy of laboratory report to Architect, <br />Engineer, Owner’s Resident Inspector, Division of the State Architect and to <br />Contractor. Reports of test results of materials and inspections found not to be <br />in compliance with the requirements of the Contract Documents shall be <br />forwarded immediately to the Architect, Engineer, Owner’s Resident Inspector, <br />Division of the State Architect and the Contractor. <br /> <br />505 E Central Ave <br />#B11/6/2024
