Permanent lighting may be used during construction; maintain lighting and make <br />routine repairs. <br />C. Owner will pay costs of energy used from existing on-site services. <br />D. Provide separate metering and reimburse Owner for costs of energy used from <br />existing on-site services. <br />1.3 HEAT AND VENTILATION <br />A. Provide heat and ventilation as required to maintain specified conditions for <br />construction operation, to protect materials and finishes from damage due to <br />temperature and humidity. <br />B. Coordinate use of existing facilities with Owner. <br />1. Supplement with temporary units as required to maintain specified conditions for <br />construction operations, and to protect materials and finishes from damage due <br />to temperature or humidity. <br />C. Owner will pay costs of energy used from existing on-site services. <br />1.4 WATER AND SANITARY FACILITIES <br />A. Provide water service required for construction operations; extend branch piping with <br />outlets located so water is available by use of hoses. <br />1. Connection to existing facilities is permitted. <br />2. Owner will pay for water used from existing on-site services. <br />B. Provide and maintain required sanitary facilities and enclosures. <br />1. Existing facilities shall not be used. <br />2. Where existing sanitary facilities are designated to be used during construction <br />operations maintain in sanitary condition. Verify availability with Building <br />Management prior to beginning on-site work. <br />1.5 CONSTRUCTION AIDS <br />A. Noise, Dust and Pollution Control: Provide materials and equipment necessary to <br />comply with local requirements for noise, dust and pollution control. <br />B. Fire Protection: Maintain on-site fire protection facilities as required by applicable <br />authorities and insurance requirements. <br />C. Security: Protect Site and Work; prevent unauthorized entry, vandalism, and theft. <br />1. Coordinate with Owner’s security program. <br />D.
