Where possible a 48” maximum height for elevator floor
buttons is preferred.
c) Floor buttons shall be provided with visual indications to show when each call is registered. The visual indicators shall be extinguished when each call is answered.
d) Except for photo electric tube by-pass switches, emergency controls, including the emergency stop and alarm, shall be grouped in or adjacent to the bottom of the panel and shall be no lower than
2'-11" from the floor. For multiple controls only, one set must comply with these height requirements.
e) The centerline of the hall call buttons shall be 3'-6" above the floor.
