Contractor shall provide the necessary training programs and instructions to the <br />Owner's representative. Number of hours shall be a minimum of four (4) hours for <br />each system or days as required under separate Sections of these Specifications. <br />Complete operation and maintenance manuals shall be provided at least two (2) <br />weeks prior to training. <br />d. Submit copies of manufacturer's instructions and maintenance of electrical <br />equipment including replacement parts lists. Each set shall include one set of shop <br />drawings of equipment installed. <br />U. Submittals for Change Orders: When changes are made during the construction phase, <br />deletions and additions shall be presented in a manner that will indicate the cost of each item of <br />material and corresponding labor. Markup shall be then added in accordance with the <br />requirements of the General Conditions as modified by the Supplementary Conditions. <br />V. The Contractor at a time convenient to the Owner shall provide instruction to the Owner's <br />operating personnel in the proper operation and maintenance of all equipment and systems. <br />The instructors shall have received factory training and shall be thoroughly familiar with the <br />equipment installed. The operating personnel shall receive the number of days instruction as <br />indicated in other sections. <br />1.3 PROJECT RECORD DOCUMENTS <br />A. Record Drawings: CAD: Use a computer aided drafting (CAD) system in the preparation of <br />record drawings for this Project. Acceptable CAD systems shall be capable of producing files <br />in AutoCAD Version 2019 compatible DWG or DXF format. Owner's consultant will furnish <br />CAD backgrounds for use by the Contractor after construction is 85% complete except where <br />prohibited by Contract. <br />B. At all times when the work is in progress, maintain at the workplace, fabrication shop or Project <br />Site as applies, a complete separate, clean, undamaged set of the latest stamped, actioned <br />submittals. As work progresses, maintain records of "as installed" conditions on this set in <br />suitable ink or chemical fluid. Update the set daily. After successful completion of Project Site <br />testing specified herein, and after completion of Punch List corrections, copy all records of "as <br />installed" conditions on to originals. <br />C. Quantity: <br />1. Review sets: As for Shop and Field Drawings. <br />2. Record set: Three (3) blackline. <br /> <br /> <br />D. Format: Record Drawings: <br />1. Disk copy of Record Drawings - 1 copy of each drawing file in format noted above, CD- <br />ROM. <br />E. Content: All drawings required under "Field and Shop Drawings". Show "as installed" <br />condition. Where room designations according to Project permanent signage differ from <br />construction designations in the Contract Documents, show both designations.
