IT IS THE CONTRACTORS RESPONSIBILITY TO PROTECT ALL (E) MATERIALS AND FINISHES TO <br />REMAIN FROM DAMAGE DURING THE DEMO WORK. WHERE DEMOLITION WORK HAS OCCURRED <br />AND DAMAGED HAS RESULTED, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL REPLACE DAMAGED MATERIALS AND <br />FINISHES WITH NEW SIMILAR MATERIALS. <br />2. REMOVE ALL OBSOLETE EQUIPMENT, PANELS, CONDUIT AND PIPING. ALL UTILITIES SHALL BE <br />REMOVED TO AS FAR BACK TO THEIR ORIGIN AS POSSIBLE. ALL UTILITIES SHALL BE PROPERLY <br />CAPPED AT THEIR TERMINATION. <br />3. WHERE EXISTING WALL FRAMING OR PARTITIONS ARE SHOWN TO BE REMOVED, CONTRACTOR <br />TO REMOVE/CAP ALL CONCEALED UTILITIES IN PREPARATION OF NEW CONSTRUCTION. <br />4. REFER TO HAZMAT REPORT FOR LOCATIONS REQUIRING ABATEMENT AND REMOVAL. IF <br />CONTRACTOR ENCOUNTERS MATERIAL IN AN AREA BEYOND THE SAMPLE AREAS THAT IS <br />DIFFERENT THAN MATERIAL FOUND IN THE SURVEY, NOTIFY ARCHITECT, OWNER, AND <br />HAZARDOUS MATERIAL CONSULTANT IMMEDIATELY FOR CONSULTATION PRIOR TO REMOVAL. <br />5. WHERE ORIGINAL MATERIALS REMAIN AND ARE SALVAGEABLE, ORIGINAL MATERIALS SHALL BE <br />REPAIRED AS NEEDED.
