City of Santa Ana Public Library Renovation <br />Group 4 Architecture Research + Planning, Inc.Smith, Fause & McDonald Inc. <br />Group 4 Project No. 22575-01 Conform Set – August 2, 2024Bid Set Addendum-03 – June 05 <br />INTEGRATED AUDIOVISUAL SYSTEMS AND EQUIPMENT SECTION 27 4116-63 <br />a.Front face of panel shall provide two electrical power outlets and a switch. <br />An indicator lamp shall show the presence of AC power when on. The front <br />face of panel shall have a black finish. The rear face shall provide a <br />minimum of at least four receptacles. The panel shall be racked mounted in <br />a maximum of two rack units. The panel shall be Code approved and UL <br />rated for this application. <br />3.Manufacturers: <br />a.Hubbell MCCPSS19TS <br />b.Leviton 4515 <br />c.Geist SP124-1020 <br />d.Or equal. <br />PART 3 - EXECUTION <br />3.1 GENERAL <br />A.Perform the Work of this Section in accordance with acknowledged industry and professional <br />standards and practices, and the procedures specified herein. <br />B.Furnish and install (herein, "provide") all materials, devices, components, and equipment <br />required for complete, operational systems. <br />3.2 PRECONSTRUCTION PROGRAMMING MEETING <br />A.Not less than 30 calendar days prior to the scheduled completion of the project, Contractor to <br />initiate a request of the City's Representative to schedule an Audiovisual Systems <br />programming meeting. <br />1.The City's Representative will schedule the meeting at the reasonable mutual <br />convenience of the Contractor and the City's technical systems representatives. <br />2.The purpose of the meeting is for the City's Representative to indicate to the <br />Contractor how the programmable interfaces of the audiovisual systems are to be <br />implemented, including: <br />a.Button assignments and labels for physical button panels <br />b.Touchscreen menu hierarchy, scene arrangement, button and background <br />colors, text size, logos <br />c.Whether authorization codes or passwords will be required to access special <br />functions/menus. <br />3.Contractor to document the information received from the City's Representatives at <br />this meeting. <br />4.Contractor to submit the documentation of the requirements meeting, along with their <br />proposed response to the City's programming requirements in the form of screen <br />shots and system menu flow diagrams as required under Section 27 05 00 – <br />Common Work Results for Communications Audiovisual Systems, 1.4 Submittals. <br />3.3 WIRING CLASSIFICATION AND RELATED <br />A.Audio Signal Wiring Classification: <br />1.Type A-l: Microphone level wiring less than -30 dBμ, 20 Hz to 20 kHz. <br />2.Type A-2: Line level wiring -30 dBμ to +24 dBμ, 20 Hz to 20 kHz. <br />3.Type A-3: Loudspeaker level or circuit wiring greater than +24 dBμ, from 20 Hz to 20 <br />kHz. <br />B.Video and Related Signal Wiring Classification: <br />1.Type V-1: Baseband and composite video wiring 1 volt peak-to-peak into 75 ohms, 0 <br />to 10.0 MHz.
