GENERAL <br />1. ALL WORK ON THIS PROJECT SHALL BE PERFORMED IN COMPLIANCE WITH ALL <br />LOCAL, STATE, AND FEDERAL CODES AND REGULATIONS, THE AHJ APPROVED <br />DRAWINGS, IFC DRAWINGS, INSTALLATION MANUALS, MATERIAL SPECIFICATION <br />SHEETS, AND ENVIRONMENTAL, HEALTH, SAFETY (EHS), AND QUALITY <br />REQUIREMENTS, AS APPLICABLE TO EACH CONTRACTORS SCOPE OF WORK. <br />2. CONTRACTORS', AND CONTRACTORS' EMPLOYEES, SHALL BE DULY LICENSED AND <br />CERTIFIED TO PERFORM THEIR SCOPE OF WORK REQUIRED TO BUILD AND <br />COMPLETE THIS PROJECT. <br />3. SEE DIAGRAMS AND DETAILS FOR SITE SPECIFIC INFORMATION. <br />4. THIS PROPOSED PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEM IS INTENDED TO CONNECT TO THE <br />EXISTING SITE OR FACILITY ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. THIS CONNECTION SHALL BE IN <br />COMPLIANCE WITH NEC ARTICLE 705.12 "POINT OF CONNECTION" (POC). <br />5. THIS PROPOSED PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEM IS INTENDED TO BE OPERATED IN <br />PARALLEL WITH THE UTILITY SERVICE PROVIDER. ANTI-ISLANDING PROTECTION IS A <br />REQUIREMENT OF UL 1741 AND IS INTENDED TO PREVENT THE OPERATION OF THE <br />SYSTEM WHEN THE UTILITY GRID IS NOT OPERATIONAL. <br />6. ALL ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS AND MATERIALS SHALL BE LISTED FOR THEIR <br />INTENDED USE AND INSTALLED PER MANUFACTURER SPECIFICATIONS. <br />7. ALL OUTDOOR EQUIPMENT SHALL MEET APPROPRIATE NEMA STANDARDS. <br />8. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL CHECK AND VERIFY ALL DIMENSIONS ON THE <br />DRAWINGS, AND LAYOUT ALL AREAS OF THE ARRAY PRIOR TO ANY INSTALLATION <br />WORK IN ORDER TO VERIFY THAT NO DISCREPANCIES, EXISTING CONDITIONS, <br />OBSTRUCTIONS OR SHADING EXIST. IF EITHER EXIST, CONTRACTOR SHALL SUBMIT A <br />RFI TO THE ENGINEER AND INSTALLATION WORK SHALL NOT COMMENCE UNTIL <br />FORMAL DIRECTION IS RECEIVED. <br />9. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL FURNISH AND INSTALL ALL WORK AS INDICATED ON THE <br />DRAWINGS AND SPECIFICATIONS. <br />10. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR LOCATING AND PROTECTING <br />ANY EXISTING UTILITIES AND EQUIPMENT ENCOUNTERED IN THE WORK AREAS. <br />11. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE ALL OPERATIONS WITH EQUIPMENT AND <br />INSTALLERS. <br />12. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL HAVE ALL SWITCHES AND BREAKERS IN THE "OFF" <br />POSITION PRIOR TO RECEIVING PERMISSION TO OPERATE WITH THE EXCEPTION OF <br />WHEN CONDUCTING APPROVED AND CODE COMPLIANT TESTING AND <br />COMMISSIONING. <br />13. PERMISSION TO OPERATE THE SYSTEM IS NOT AUTHORIZED UNTIL FINAL <br />INSPECTIONS AND APPROVALS ARE OBTAINED. <br />14.
