MIj,�GI <br />Completion of a City -approved document layout and <br />content architecture establishes the foundation from <br />which the MIG Team can create the Microsoft Word or <br />Adobe InDesign document framework required for staff <br />to use for writing and editing of the Administrative Draft <br />General Plan. <br />TASK 3: CREATE INDESIGN OR MICROSOFT WORD <br />DOCUMENT FRAMEWORK <br />Depending on City staff expertise and software <br />availability, MIG will build the document framework for <br />the General Plan using the City's choice of either Adobe <br />InDesign or Microsoft Word. <br />Using the MIG-created document framework when you <br />start writing the General Plan ensures that draft versions <br />of the General Plan adhere to the approved style guide <br />and document layout from the beginning. <br />TASK 4: GRAPHIC SUPPORT AND PRODUCTION <br />MIG will support City staff as needed to ensure that <br />all graphics (diagrams, photos, charts and maps, etc.) <br />adhere to the approved style guide. This support will <br />include providing City staff with design samples and <br />specifications as well as direct graphic manipulation and <br />graphic production work. <br />As part of this task, MIG will recommend compelling <br />graphics forthe web -based General Plan and create <br />web -ready versions of these graphics. In addition, MIG will <br />provide graphic support to illustrate unique urban design <br />considerations. <br />TASK S: DOCUMENT SUPPORT AND PRODUCTION <br />MIG will support the City during the development <br />of the draft document by providing professional and <br />experienced General Plan planning staff to review and <br />edit the draft document. In the budget we provide an <br />allowance for this task. <br />MIG will provide five printed Administrative Drafts and <br />a printed Final Draft.
