Approve the Project Cost Analysis for a <br />$1,850,000, which includes the contract bid <br />and an authorized contingency of $118,007. <br />DISCUSSION <br />total estimated construction delivery cost of <br />amount, administration, inspection and testing, <br />The City's Pavement Management Program has been developed to identify the preventative <br />maintenance requirements for the City's street network. The local street segments recommended <br />for the Fiscal Year 2017-18 Local Street Preventative Maintenance Capital Improvement Project <br />have been identified as high priorities for slurry seal (Exhibit 1). The recommended work consists <br />of preparing the roadway by performing minor pavement repairs, including localized replacement <br />of asphalt concrete pavement, followed by slung seal resurfacing, crack seal, striping, and <br />signage. The improvements also include replacement of damaged concrete curbs, gutters, <br />sidewalks, and curb ramps. Once completed, these improvements will improve the city s overall <br />pavement condition, enhance the visual appearance of the street, upgrade ride quality, and <br />further compliance with Americans with Disability Act (ADA) standards. <br />A Notice Inviting Bids was advertised on March 30 and April 4, 2018, and bids were opened on <br />April 24, 2018.
