Some of the <br />pavement rehabilitation methods that were evaluated were cold in-place recycling, conventional asphalt removal and <br />replacement, and cold mill and overlay. Each method was evaluated with conventional asphalt and rubberized asphalt. <br />Client Reference; City of Pomona, Raza Iolghadr, Consultant Projeot Manager, 909, 620,2238 <br />On -Call Pavement Rehabilitation/Utility Design, Fontana, CA (2008 — Ongoing) <br />Kimley-Hom has completed pavement rehabilitation design under several task orders: <br />Catawba Avenue, StovorAvenue, HemlookAverrue, Beach Avenue, and PoprdarAvenue: Improvements entailed <br />pavement replacement and overlays per geotechnical recommendations; miscellaneous concrete Improvements where <br />adjacent Improvements were affected; and reconstructionfresetting of affected private property improvements such as fences, <br />walls, curb drains, and meters. Various pavement rehabilitation options were investigated; conventional asphalt concrete <br />repisoament was recommended along one-straot and full -depth asphalt recycling <br />(FDAR) along the others. file ccnstrucklon cost savings by going with FGAR were 5 1 <br />approximately 40 percent in comparison to conventional remove -and -replace e ' <br />options.
