We will prepare a report presenting the results of ffatti exploration,_ geotechnical laboiratorytesting, and englneorfng
analyses, as well as conclusions and r bdmmendations relative to the project,
Deliverables: Draft pavement and Soli Material Report, Final Pavement Report. and $q8 Material Report,
Task 4: Survey (Options A and B)
The mlay-Nom team will provide aerial mapping with supplemental ground surveys at a scale of 1" 4 20' with 60 feet
Interval cross sections along, stroets as well As the, project orad forpump stations, This ondompasses `survey record
collection; establishment of horizontal And vertical eontrols, mohumant end.cantodinotle presowation; and establishment
Of temporary benchmarks, Existing features such as utility covers, pavement, limits, private property improvemants, curb
remps, drlvoways, curb and.gulters, eideWAlks, street lights and pules, and Vadic signs and striping willbe surveyed
where needed forthe proposed design and added to the bass maps, Existing right-ofway, will be Input per readily
available records,
Doliverables. Mlcrostallon Val FAes of Topagiaphic Survey XML Point File, 0 T of existing surface features.
Task 5: HydraultalHydrologyAnalysis (Option B)
Our team will prepare a Drainage Report to address hydrology and hydraulics for the site par Orange County
Hydrology Manual and Orange County Local Drainage Manual requlraments:and will provide design recommendations.
Modtilcations are Intended to maintain existing drainage patterns and flows. Calculations will consist of comparing the
pre. and post -project conditions at the site: Catch basins Will be incorporated Into design, where necessary, I a. to limit
flooded Width, and at low points.
Deliverables: Draft hydrology and hydraulic analysis and drainage report, final hydrology and hydraulic analysts and
drainage report.
Task fa: Water Quality (Optlons A and B)
Ifimley-Horn will develop a WQMP for the project in compliance with, and meeting the requirements of Order.No.
R8.2009.003D1NPDES No: CAS618030, of the Santa Ana Regional Water Quality Control Hoard, The WQMP will
Incorporate low impact development best management practices to the maximum extent practical. For example, the use
of bioretention facilities within landscaped parkway areas will be In accordance with the United States Environmental
Protection Agency Green $treat standards. If proprietary items are needed, these will be Indicated in compliance with (he
City's adopted public contracting code.
Deliverables; DreftWQMp, FinaiWOMP
Task 7: B'nvlrbnmental Studies (Options A and B)
Klmlay-Hom Scope of Services assumes that an Initial Study leading to a Mitigated Negative Deolaratlon (ISI MND) Is
the appropriate CEQA documentation for the proposed project. The iS will provide the necessary background. Each of
the topics contained In the Environmental Checklist will be evaluated to document the nature and extent of any potential
environmental consequences and the need for mitigation During the preparation of the IS should it be determined that
the project could have significant Impacts that cannot be fully mitigated, we will work with the City to Identify modlflcatlons
to the project that could reduce anticipated impacts. Using the City's Initial Study Checklist, Kimtey-Horn will respond to
each checklist question. The analysis will use the following' technical studios and data prepared by our team: Traffic impact
Study, Air Quality and Greenhouse Gas Study, Nolan Study, Utilities/ Infrastructure, Geotechnical Study, Drainage, Concept
WQMP, and a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment, All other environmental topics would be studied qualitatively.
Deliverables: Initial Study leading to a Mitigated Negative Declaration (IS/MND).
Klmley*Horn
Ia TROC77023.171 dlty of Sento One
25E-106
