<br />Engineer, Paul provided engineering oversight to ensure the City's expectations were met on this
<br />0.6,mlle.stretch of Studebaker Road In the City of Long Beach. The surface condition assessment
<br />was performed following the Caltrans Flexible Pavement Rehabilitation Manuel. Boring and
<br />coring ware performed to Investigate the subsurface condition of the coed. Based on collected
<br />Information, different rehabilitation strategies were oaloulated and recommended to the City of
<br />Long Beach, including Cold In -Place Recycled Asphalt Conorots Pavement and Cement
<br />Stabilized Pulverized Base,
<br />LADPW, Del Amo Boulevard Improvements This projecteonalstedotextracting asphalt
<br />concrete cores and developing.a cold recycling mix design using the collected materials, The
<br />thickness of the existing asphalt concrete and bass was recorded. The extracted materials were
<br />returned to Twining's Lang Beach laboratory for evaluation in order to develop a cold recycling
<br />mix design. in addition to developing the mix design, Twining served as the quality assurance
<br />testing laboratory during construction, Paul provided geotechnical oversight throughout this
<br />project, assisting with the Investigation and identification of soft subgrade soils that were
<br />discovered during construction,
