The pump station <br />serves two new concrete reservoirs with a capacity of 2.4 MG and 4.7 MG, and Will pump <br />potabin water t0 uburban Water Systems customers, The masonry building tial designed with <br />high parapet Walls to satisfy sevarel design criteria which Inoluds the aitys building architectural <br />guidelines; shielding the roof mounted HVAC equipmoht from view, ond'reducing nolso from the <br />roof -mounted wqulpmoot. The building was designed with specially reinforced shear walls.based <br />on seismic design: category D. The building.uses a flexible roof diaphragm comprised of f'YR-inch <br />deep metel deck supported. on wide flange roof joists that span appreArnateiy 34 feet.
