utility Services — Our project experience offers many projects with sower, water, and storm drain design. We have also provided dry utilities <br />coordination. We are currently working on projects that install and/or retrofit utilities. <br />Roadway Design Specialists —Our project team has provided roadway design services for urban, rural, primary, secondary, and major roadways. We <br />are equipped to address all option B aspects Including; <br />• Conceptual Design Alternatives + Storm Water Management <br />• Utility relocations/adjustments + Rehabilitation <br />+ Parkway Landscaping • FlnalDesign PSH packages <br />• Sound Wall and Retaining Wails Bike Path <br />+ Drainage <br />1rafNc ,Engineering —We offer complete traffic engineering services. HZ has completed hundreds of traffic engineering projects. Our traffic <br />engineering staff are experts in all aspects of traffic engineering and operations. This includes: <br />• Signing and Striping + Bicycle Safety <br />+ Temporary Traffic Control • Parking, access, and circulation <br />• School zones * Traffic Calming Pians <br />• Pedestrian Safety <br />Traffic Control —Option B would Include signing and striping for proposed improvements. The signing and striping would consider the proposed <br />bike path. Both project will require temporary traffic control during construction, Temporary traffic control could bedeferred toconstruction phase <br />or it could be included with construction documents. <br />Hydrefogyand ilydrsolicsAnafysts— Option 8 would Include a hydrology and hydraulics analysis that assess drainage Improvements, <br />Water finality compliance <br />WQMP — In accordance with MS4 Permit Guidelines <br />SWPPP - Prepares PRDs in accordance with the requirements set forth In the NPDPS General Permitter Storm Water Discharges Associated with <br />Construction and land Disturbance Activities. The SWPPP may also be deferred to the construction phase. <br />+geotechnical Recommendations—Our consultant will provide the required analysis to determine the street section thickness, sub -surface soils <br />classification and condition, evaluate soil properties, provide geotechnical parameters, trench stability requirements, and backfill recommendations, <br />We will coordinate with the Cityto make sure quality and durability are not compromised. <br />Estimates— HZ will generate quantity takeoffs and an opinion of probable construction cost for proposed project improvements, Cost estimates <br />shall Include construction, engineering, inspection, administration, right-of-way, and contingency. The estimate shall tie the unit price to a cost <br />Index and provide a format that is easily updated or revised. Bid prices from recent city project shall be reviewed to verify unit prices. <br />J <br />5peaffleations— HZ will utilize the City of Santa Ana standard bid specifications and edit them to fit both project requirements. This will include a <br />bid shoat showing the anticipated project quantities, <br />Construction Rdmialstratlon Services <br />1. Bid Support—Assist City with bid documents, attend bid meeting, and provide bid support. <br />2, Construction Support—Attend pre -construction meeting, provide ongoing support, and attend construction meetings as required, <br />3. Project Close Out... Utilize contractor redlines for as -built plans to prepare record plans in Micro -Station V81 CARD and pdf format. <br />Client Satisfaction — Huitt-Zollers achieves client satisfaction by dedicating a concise and experience team that will deliver on schedule and <br />within budget.
