2. SCOPE OF SERVICES AND SCHEDULE <br />Scope of Services <br />The tasks below are intended to demonstrate the work to be implemented and the deliverables to be provided as part <br />of the On -Cali services. Additional items not In the Scope of Services may be required to complete the On -Call. project. <br />Design plans end reports Indicated will follow the City's standard format, unless required otherwise. Tasks are marked per <br />options A and B as outlined in the RFP, <br />Task 1: Project Management and Coordination (Options A and S) <br />.... ....... ........ ..................... <br />Kimley-Mom team members wilt attend an initial kick olf meeting to confirm project elements, objectives, acope, and <br />schedule; and attend monthly POT coordination meetings with the City. We will conduct meetings and conferomca calls and <br />provide pertinent meeting minutes with action items and will prepare monthly progress reports, as part of the invoice. package, <br />As part of this task, a Ganit Chart Format Target Schedule will be provided showing primary tasks and review pwriodst <br />processing, In agreement with the Cfty. KImlgy.Morm will maintain a Progress schedule showing actual progress versus <br />target and provide to the City on'a monthly basis, <br />17s/ivoraples: Meeting agendas, meeting minutes, action Items, progress reports, invoicing, draft target schedule, <br />monthly updated sohedule. <br />Task 2: Record Research and Uiiiity Coordination (Options A and 1d) <br />Kfmlay-Morn will obtain.readily availablerecord drawings and data pertinent to the scope of services, such as GIS <br />mapping, as -built plans, and utility atlases. We will maintain a utility agency tracking list to indicate the status of <br />communication and odd contact list for substructure and utility owner -operators that will also carryover to the <br />specifications, We will assist the City with utility notification letters. These letters will notify the utility agency of the project, <br />describe anticipated Impacts, and Identify action required, <br />poilverobfes: Utility agency tracking list, utility noflflcation letters. <br />Task 3: Geotechnical Study (Options A and <br />Pavement Evaluation: We will use City's provided traffic Index for pavement design. Pavement evaluation will consist of <br />the following services: <br />Subsurface exploration consisting of the excavation, + Evaluate Expansion Index and Corrosion potential of <br />sampling, and fogging subsurface soils <br />Evatuats. the R•value and in-placo moisture content of ^ Analysis and design of new pavement and pavement <br />subsurface soils rehabilitation alternatives <br />Excavation and compaction requirements . Provide recommendation for sidewalk Improvement <br />Infiltration Test: Our team will conduct a geotechnical field review and will provide recommendations as follows: <br />Percolation rate test to the depth of eight feet . Grain Size Distribution and Atterberg Limits/Plasticity <br />Agronomy/soil fortility laboratory testing Index <br />Obtain bulk soil samples at selected depths . Moisture content <br />Percolation rate characteristics of the soils .
