Provide the basis•of heoring and benchmark <br />Information used for the survey and necessary for <br />construction, <br />C) Utility Looating/Pethoiing - Perform necessary <br />research to Identify nil existing utilities and potential <br />conflicts. Pothole existing utilities to verify depth and <br />location (assume 15 potholes). Measure and identify In the <br />potholing report the depth of pavement and base material <br />at each location potholed. Provide all required traffic <br />control and surface repair necessary for potholing work. <br />TASK 3 - PRELIMINARY DES GN <br />Develop a preliminary design of the project site to <br />review with City staff. An approximate 30% design level <br />Will constitute a Preliminary Design for this project. <br />Preliminary design wilt include, but not limited to tine <br />followings <br />Existing utilities <br />• Existing pavem(Int, curb, gutter, sidewalk, <br />driveways <br />• Penniturigmquiremerrrss <br />• ie impacts <br />• Easement requirements <br />• Proposed Pipe alignment and connections <br />• Proposed pavamergt, curb, gutter, sidewalk, driveways <br />• Based on survey results and city Input, NV5 will <br />design Proposed water and sewer Improvements <br />• Preliminary construction dost estimate. <br />• Schedule <br />TASK 4 - FiNAL ENGINEERING AND PREPARATION <br />OF CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT DOCUMENTS <br />Final Engineering will include detailed engineering <br />calculations, design, construction plans, and engineer's <br />construction cost estimate for the project that will enable <br />the City to advertise and award the construction contract <br />for the project. Components of this task Include. <br />A) Plan and Project poouments Preparations ggjj <br />;Lo rA, and Flow) - NVs: wilt submit one (1) set of 24 -Inch <br />x 364nch and two (2) sets of it -inch x 17'•Ineh pians on <br />bond paper for each submittal. Paper submittals wl11 be <br />accompanied by a CD with scanned imagss (PDF files).of <br />submittals. The final submittal Witt Include one (1) set of <br />244noh x 364rich original signed/seaied plans on bond <br />Paper, one (1) set of bid form, opinion of construction cost, <br />and electronic files as described herolra. <br />City will review and return 60% plans with comments <br />Pertaining to required improvements for the project. Plans <br />and project documents submitted as 100% will Incorporate <br />all comments. NV5 will provide a digital copy of the <br />aPProvad PmjQCt pians In Microstaticn VS) and PDF to the <br />City on a compact disc. <br />B) Engineer's Construoticn cost opinion <br />1.
