ON-CALL ENGINEERING SERVICES PROPOSAL <br />RPP NO.: 17-083 <br />City of Santa Ana <br />RELEVANT PROJECT EXPERIENCE <br />Mark Thomas team has planned and designed a wide variety of locally and federally funded capital <br />Improvement projects throughout California,, ncluding for public agencies In Orange and Los Angeles Counties. <br />Such projects have included complete streets design, roadway reconstruction, pavement rehabilitation, active <br />transportation planning, signing and striping, ADA improvements and upgrades, operational improvements, <br />mulgmodal enhancements, highway widenings, and storm drainage facilities, Below is a table highlighting our <br />relevant project experience. <br />. _ <br />®. <br />Bayside Drive <br />Mark Thomas is providing engineering, geometric and transportation design <br />Improvements <br />services to complete this this roadway project that will greatly Improve pedestrian <br />Project <br />safety, bicycle connectivity, and overall vehicular and multimodal operations in <br />the City of Newport Beach. This pro act includes four distinct elements; pavement <br />ments <br />rehabilitation, Improveto the PCH intersection which involves CalMans <br />Na Beach, CA <br />approvals, traffic calming elements, and bicycle and pedestrian improvements. <br />Key services that we are providing include: <br />Complete Streets: We will Improve vehicle, bicycle, pedestrian, and transit <br />connectivity with the addition of bike lanes, sidewalks, mid -block crossing, and <br />crosswalks to provide an Inviting and safe corridor. <br />Pavement Rehabilitation: We will Implement creative rehabilitatation strata les <br />for the pavement along Bayside Drive which shows signs of recent crack seeis and <br />significant wear at the ECH Intersection. <br />Caltrans Approval and Permitting: Improvements to the intersection with ECH will <br />require approvals from Caltrans. Work along these corridors <br />Projects <br />Included the evaluation of the existing pavement and the development of final plans <br />for rehabilitation or replacement. The design included replacing non -ADA compliant <br />curb ramps and replacing concrete sidewalk, curb, and gutter that were in poor <br />Foliation; CA <br />condition.
