STATEMENT REGARDING APPRENTICESHIP REQUIREMENTS <br />The undersigned BIDDER is familiar with the requirements of Section 1777.5 of the State Labor <br />Code regarding employment of apprentices, and understands that contractors on contracts <br />exceeding $30,000 or 20 working days shall: <br />Apply to the joint apprenticeship committee administering the apprenticeship standards of <br />the craft or trade in the area of the site of the public work for a certificate approving the <br />contractor under the apprenticeship standards for the employment and training of apprentices <br />in the area or industry affected. <br />2. Employ the number of apprentices or the ratio of apprentices to journeymen stipulated in the <br />apprenticeship standards. <br />3.
