CITY Or SANTA ANA ADVERTISEMENT PROJECT NO.: 17-6893 WARNER AVENUE AND FLOWER STREET TRAFFIC SIGNAL MODIFICATION NOTICE INVITING BIDS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Santa Ana will receive Bids on or before the hour of 2:00:59 pm, January 24, 2018.by the Public Works Agency Receptionist, Third Floor (see attached map), located at City Hall - Ross Annex, 20 Civic Center Plaza, M-22, Santa Ana, California 92701 for: PROJECT NO, 17-6893 WARNER AVENUE AND FLOWER STREET TRAFFIC SIGNAL MODIFICATION Bids Proposals shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope clearly marked on the outside with the above identified project number and name, and also marked "SEALED BID — DO NOT OPEN WITH REGULAR MAIL" Scope of Work includes upgrading the current eastbound and westbound left turn phasing by replacing the two mast arms traffic signal poles. It is the BIDDER'S responsibility to ensure delivery of the Proposal prior to the bid opening hour. Contractors will be required to comply with the.Cfty's new security nolicX and sign -in with the receptionist on the first floor. Contractors will sign -in under Bid opening for Project 17-6893 to receive elevator access to the 3rd floor lobby. Contractors should allow themselves additional time to register in order to avoid missing the time -stamp deadline. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Proposal Guaranty in the form of a cashier's or certified check payable to the City of Santa Ana, or Bid Bond issued by a corporate surety, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid aggregate, as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into the proposed contract if the same is awarded. The signature of the bidder on the bid bond must be notarized. The City of Santa Ana reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive ally minor or non- substantive irregularities in the bid documents. Prior to bid opening,, Bidders must possess or obtain a valid California Class "A" or Class "C-10" Contractor's license. Addenda issued during the time the bid is advertised wilt be posted on the City of Santa Ana website.
