COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br />HOUSING PROGRAM <br />Successor Housing Agency - Housing Authority Various <br />Statement E'urpose <br />To retain the responsibility for performing housingnctions previously performed by the former redevelopment agency, <br />enforce affordability covenants, and perform related activities pursuant to applicable provisions of the Community <br />Redevelopment Law pursuant to the California Health and Safety Code, Part 1,85 of Division 24, Section 34176. <br />The Housing Authority, acting as the Successor Housing Agency, implements enforceable obligation projects <br />and monitors affordable housing funded with the fon-nor low and moderate income housing funds, and ensures <br />compliance with all statutory monitoring requirements. <br />• Monitored loan portfolio for compliance; performed 200 physical inspections, visited 6 leasing offices to examine tenant <br />and project files for compliance, and re -certified loans. <br />• Awarded a loan for $8,522,740 for the development of 69 units of affordable housing at the First Street Apartments <br />project. <br />• Assisted in the preparation of the annual Recognized Obligation Payment Schedule. <br />�Acton ".'P[OfOr;Ty, 0,1:9 <br />* Issue a Request for Proposals for the development of the remaining five Housing Successor Agency -owned parcels and <br />initiate development, <br />* Continue to monitor loan Portfolio for program compliance. <br />qbj <br />MEASURES <br />"fo .
