'h Programs Development and implementation of 5 community events that will benefit the community and/or the children enrolled in the youth program component (TEENS) 2 planning and preparation sessions to develop and fully plan each of 5 community events (TEENS) Youths, ages 7 to 15 will participate in 5 crime and gang prevention events (Youth) Teens will produce and present a total of 12 classroom sessions in crime and gang prevention for youth participants (TEEN Youths, ages 7 to 15 will participate in 12 crime and gang prevention classroom sessions (Youth) ormance Measures 'h Programs Teens will demonstrate their accomplishments in a variety of situations, and be recognized in front of their family, peers, and mentors. All program participants will demonstrate an increased awareness of the negative effects of crime and gang involvement and will make a commitment towards gang free lifestyles. All program participants will demonstrate increased knowledge and skills that build resiliency and prevent criminal and gang involving such as communication skills, conflict resolution, handling disappointments, identifying and avoiding unduly risky situations, making safe choices, and other social competencies. Assessment Teens will define the risk factors they face and determine which areas they want to focus on for youth program development. Teens will develop a well -thought out personal goal plan with areas they want to be trained in and specific accomplishments they want to achieve and will be able to track progress. Teens will demonstrate increased/improved levels of self-awareness and ability to articulate personal values, strengths, and weaknesses Broom Training Teens will increase their knowledge in crime and gang prevention statistics and research -based strategies. Teenswill demonstrate increased/improved levels of Knowledge about their own strengths and weaknesses and how they can use that knowledge to improve their lives; awareness of options for the future; attitudes and behaviors; communication skills; camaraderie and a sense of belonging; ability to make safe choices when confronted with adverse situations; and team work skills. Teens will demonstrate increased social competencies, a sense of responsibility to oneself and others, knowledge of and ability to seek out resources, and an increased awareness of how personal actions affect others Teens will develop a portfolio with work product, including a resume, sample cover letters, thank -you letters, job applications, etc. Teens will be prepared to develop and implement youth prevention programs and activities for neighborhood children. Teens will learn job skills and use those skills to produce quality work product that benefits program participants of Delhi Center's programs and services and the community in general. EXHIBIT A
