'h Programs <br />Development and implementation of 5 community events that will benefit the community and/or the children enrolled in <br />the youth program component (TEENS) <br />2 planning and preparation sessions to develop and fully plan each of 5 community events (TEENS) <br />Youths, ages 7 to 15 will participate in 5 crime and gang prevention events (Youth) <br />Teens will produce and present a total of 12 classroom sessions in crime and gang prevention for youth participants (TEEN <br />Youths, ages 7 to 15 will participate in 12 crime and gang prevention classroom sessions (Youth) <br />ormance Measures <br />'h Programs <br />Teens will demonstrate their accomplishments in a variety of situations, and be recognized in front of their family, peers, <br />and mentors. <br />All program participants will demonstrate an increased awareness of the negative effects of crime and gang involvement <br />and will make a commitment towards gang free lifestyles. <br />All program participants will demonstrate increased knowledge and skills that build resiliency and prevent criminal and <br />gang involving such as communication skills, conflict resolution, handling disappointments, identifying and avoiding unduly <br />risky situations, making safe choices, and other social competencies. <br />Assessment <br />Teens will define the risk factors they face and determine which areas they want to focus on for youth program <br />development. <br />Teens will develop a well -thought out personal goal plan with areas they want to be trained in and specific <br />accomplishments they want to achieve and will be able to track progress. <br />Teens will demonstrate increased/improved levels of self-awareness and ability to articulate personal values, strengths, and <br />weaknesses <br />Broom Training <br />Teens will increase their knowledge in crime and gang prevention statistics and research -based strategies. <br />Teenswill demonstrate increased/improved levels of Knowledge about their own strengths and weaknesses and how they <br />can use that knowledge to improve their lives; awareness of options for the future; attitudes and behaviors; communication <br />skills; camaraderie and a sense of belonging; ability to make safe choices when confronted with adverse situations; and <br />team work skills. <br />Teens will demonstrate increased social competencies, a sense of responsibility to oneself and others, knowledge of and <br />ability to seek out resources, and an increased awareness of how personal actions affect others <br />Teens will develop a portfolio with work product, including a resume, sample cover letters, thank -you letters, job <br />applications, etc. <br />Teens will be prepared to develop and implement youth prevention programs and activities for neighborhood children. <br />Teens will learn job skills and use those skills to produce quality work product that benefits program participants of Delhi <br />Center's programs and services and the community in general. <br />EXHIBIT A <br />
