GNP TAIT & Assaclakes, Inc. <br />On -Call Engineering Servicas <br />Landscape Details <br />For the purposes of this proposal TAIT Is assuming that landscape Improvements would he Ilmlted to <br />preparation of details and construction notes and would not require the preparation of detailed <br />construction drawings, The proposed landscape improvements would be limited to the 4 -foot wide non - <br />sidewalk area in the 10 -toot wide street parkway on the side of the street to be widened, For proposing <br />purposes the assumed landscape Improvements are assumed to he a continuation of the streetseape <br />concept applied for the street segments adjacent to the project limits, <br />QA=gylew & Submittal �gordinatlon <br />As part of our scope of work, TAIT has included the necessary labor effort for conducting in-house <br />QA/QC reviews and coordinating the necessary plan review prior to the 65% & 100% submittals. <br />9nti(.Cfrg„yrr AO MI DOWmentOtIQU <br />As part of the final design Talt will work with the city to prepare the project's necessary environmental <br />documentation, <br />Dellverables; <br />✓ Preliminary layout Pian <br />✓ 65% Plans,100% PS&E and Final PS&E 0ld Documents (Hard Copy, PDF & Microstatlon formats) <br />✓ Geotechnical Investigation Report (Hard Copy and PDF) <br />✓ Environmental Documentation <br />Engineer's Cost&stimate <br />TAITwIII prepare an engineer's cost estimate at the 65%, 100%, and Final PS&E submittal stage for City <br />review and Input. Unit prices will be checked against recent City of Rosemead projects; Worla Items will <br />be prepared to correlate with the preliminary specifications, and will Include all work Items Including <br />mobilization, storm water compliance, traffic control, and striping. The cost estimate will be reviewed <br />by the QA/QC Manager prior to each submittal per the quality assurance program, Further, the <br />engineers cost estimate will be formatted per LAPM requirements In order to ald In the City's expedited <br />approval of the RFA Package, <br />Doliverables: <br />✓ 65%, 100"%and Final Cost Estimates (PDF & Excel Spread Sheet) <br />✓ PES, R/W Cart., & RFA Supporting Calculatlon's/Documents, If federally funded <br />Project Specifications <br />TAIT will prepare project specifications for the proposed project based on the City's bolierplate <br />specifications, Each work Item will have a clear measurement and payment clause In order to avoid <br />costly change orders during the construction phase. Specifications will also Include clear delineatlon.of <br />the traffic control requirements and parameters as well as coordination requirements with utilities, <br />Finally, the project specifications will be reviewed bythe QA/QC Manager prior to each submittal per <br />the quality assurance program, If requested all required federal provisions, forms and work Itorns will <br />be Included In the specifications based on the most recent versions uploaded to the LAPM website, <br />Delivarables; <br />✓ 65% Specifications Table of Content/Outline <br />✓ 100% and Final Project Specifications (PDF and Word.doc Copies) <br />PrwjectManagentent, Coordination andMeetings <br />Project Team meetings with the City will be held, at a minimum, on a monthly basis, In addition as <br />Indicated in the Preliminary Project Schedule, Design Review Meetings will be held after the City <br />completes Its review of the Preliminary Plans 65% and 100% to review and develop recommendations <br />(� rAIT Page 116 <br />
