<br />Willdan's expertise in the core disciplines necessary to provide on-call services to the City of Santa Ana is

<br />Willdan provides a wide range of surveying, mapping, and right-of-way engineering services for major
<br />transportation Improvements, street widenings, sewer and water improvements, urban redevelopment,
<br />final and parcel maps, and legal descriptions. Field services provided by Willdan and/or our subconsult-
<br />ants Include conducting boundary surveys and/or research, topographic base mapping, right-of-way

<br />Geotechn/cal Engineering
<br />Willdan provides a full gamut of geotechnical studies, engineering geology, and materials testing and
<br />Inspection, including subsurface exploration, geologic and seismic hazard assessment, soll testing, en-
<br />gineering and pavement analyses and designs, construction support (soils and materials testing and
<br />Inspection), and special studies. Wllldan's soils and materials testing laboratory is licensed by the City
<br />of Los Angeles and by Caltrans, and participates in the AMRL and CCRL proficiency programs.

<br />Willdan has been at the forefront for many years in developing new and more cost-effective approaches
<br />to rehabilitating pavement structures of deteriorated streets. Design specifications have been tested
<br />and refined for various processes using methods and materials proven to be economical and effective
<br />in their application. Through our roles as city engineer for various agencies, Willdan receives Important
<br />feedback regarding the most efficient construction materials and methods to implement for each type of
<br />condition encountered, actual performance of each different rehabilitation method over extended peri-
<br />ods -- what is sustainable, and field conditions discovered during construction that warrant special con-
<br />tract provisions.
<br />Wllldan's civil engineers offer a full complement of roadway and highway design, including feasibility
<br />studies (site evaluation/grading/earthwork), project study and project reports, final design plans and
<br />j specifications, erosion control and site remediation, storm water management, NPDES compliance, util-
<br />ity conflict analysis, ADA analysis and compliance, value engineering analysis, cost estimating and
<br />scheduling, and oonstructabNity review. Willdan provides assistance during bidding and provides engi-
