(Michael Baker) appreciates the opportunity to be of continued <br />service to the City of Santa Ana (City) through this engineering services contract. The City is seeking <br />a consultant that has the right combination of relevant experience and expertise to design needed <br />improvements for the Civic Center Stormwater Lift Station Renovation Project, We have brought <br />together an exceptionally qualified team ready to deliver quality services, including key professionals <br />from within our firm who worked on the City's Stormwater Pumping Stations Preliminary Study in <br />2016. Our team is avaliabie to start work immediately and can efficiently produce the final design <br />package in an expedited schedule. As partners in your mission to upgrade these critical facilities, we <br />offer the City the following benefits: <br />Highly Experienced Project Manager with Expertise to Deliver a Quality Project. Our <br />team will be led by Safe Kamangar, PE, PMP, CCM, QSD, who has 2.0 years of experience in <br />the planning and design of water infrastructure, Sala Is uniquely qualified to manage this <br />project and has successfully delivered design for rehabilitation, upgrade and/or replacement of <br />multiple pumping and lift station projects. He has also served as Construction Manager on a <br />number of pump station projects, giving him an advanced understanding of a project from the <br />planning and design phases through construction completion, <br />✓ Team with In -Depth Knowledge and Background with the Civic Center Stormwater Lift <br />Stations Streamlines Design. Our team includes Electrical Engineer, Marek Prxywara, PE; <br />and Structural Engineer, Sal Sheikh, PE, who both worked on the Preliminary Study for the <br />stormwater lift stations. In addition, they bring 34 years of electrical engineering and 44 years <br />of structural engineering experience to this project. Our QC Manager, Mujahid Chandoo, PE, <br />performed hydrology and hydraulic analysis of the Civic Center as part of the detailed Storm <br />Drain Master Plan provided to the City in 201 B. The data gathered during the master plan will <br />be reviewed to verify the conclusion of the preliminary study that the pumps are correctly <br />sized.
