Agreement with IDS Group - Electrical and <br />Lighting Design Services <br />August 21, 2018 <br />Page 2 <br />The table below is the list of firms with their respective evaluation scores: <br />NAME OF FIRM <br />RATING <br />IDS Group, Inc. <br />91 <br />tk1sc <br />86 <br />Michael Baker International <br />79 <br />EDM Services, Inc. <br />73 <br />Based on these ratings, staff recommends that the top ranked firm, IDS Group, Inc. be retained <br />to provide the electrical and lighting design for various park locations for a fee in an amount not to <br />exceed $92,690, which includes a 10 percent design services contingency of $8,427 based on <br />the schedule of rates and fees received with the IDS Group's proposal (Exhibit 1). <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />Approval of this item supports the City's efforts to meet Goal #6 — Community Facilities & <br />Infrastructure, Objective #1 (Establish and Maintain a Community Investment plan for All City <br />Assets), Strategy G (Develop and Implement the City's Capital Improvement Program in <br />Coordination with the Community Investment and Deferred Maintenance Plans). <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />There is no environmental impact associated with this action. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Funds are budgeted and available in the Community Development Block Grant Programs fund <br />(Account No. 13518783) and the Residential Development District 2, Park Acquisition & <br />Development fund (Account No. 31213260). Subsequently annual funding distribution will be <br />subject to and budgeted according to their fund availability.
