City of Santa Ana <br />Engineering, Technical and Administrative Support Services <br />RFP No.: 18-047 <br />STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS <br />UNDERSTANDING OF NEED <br />On an as -needed basis, PENCO will provide the <br />City of Santa Ana with professional staff to perform <br />engineering, technical and administrative tasks <br />for the delivery of Public Work Services. These <br />tasks may include engineering design for street <br />rehabilitation and street widening project plans <br />and specifications. Underground utility design and <br />review for water, sewer and storm drain plans and <br />specifications; Electrical and Mechanical consulting, <br />review of design of plans and specifications for <br />water infrastructure (i.e. development and permit <br />projects; Engineering and administrative support of <br />Neighborhood Traffic Management and Residential <br />Permit Parking program; Landscaping and irrigation <br />system design for public work projects). Two to <br />three candidates will be provided for each requested <br />position and interviews will occur as needed. <br />It is understood that registered Professional <br />Engineers and Licensed Land Surveyors may be <br />required to sign plans, specifications and contract <br />legal documents. <br />Our Senior Staff Manager, Gary Solsona, PE, <br />QSD, will meet with the City on a regular basis <br />to see that each placed candidate is meeting the <br />needs of the City. The Project Manager will also <br />meet with the placed candidate on a regular basis to <br />make sure the candidate's needs are being met. <br />Page 2 <br />25F-141 <br />
