D. UNDERSTANDING OF NEED We understand that the City of Santa Ana is seeking qualified firms to provide a variety of Engineering, Technical, and Administrative services to support the City's Public Works Agency in the successful and timely delivery of public works projects as an extension of City staff. We propose to provide services In the following areas: o Engineering Plan Review, Including streets, water, sewer, utilities, water Infrastructure, mechanical, electrical, traffic, road striping, and map checking o Project Management o Engineering and Administrative Support of the City's Neighborhood Traffic Management and Residential Permit Parking Program o Construction Management, Project inspection, and Oversight Interwest has provided the services noted above for the past 16 years, in addition to several of the service areas Implied In the list of potentially required staff, Including Building Inspection and GIS Analyst services. We employ a large number of qualified public works engineers, construction managers and Inspectors.
