E. RELEVANT PROJECT EXPERIENCE <br />Below we have provided sample services performed for clients in Southern California, including <br />the client, a project description, and the year completed. Contact names and information <br />have been provided for each client In the following section, F. References. <br />ENGINEERING SERVICES <br />Charger's Training Facility I City of Costa Mesa 12017: Interwest staff provided rough and <br />Precise grading plan check for the Chargers new Training Facility in the City of Costa Mesa. <br />This 3.5 acre project is valued at $130K and involves the construction of a new football training <br />facility with on-site water relocation, the demolition of a parking area north of the football field, <br />and a state of the art drainage system that meets NFL standards, Precise grading comments <br />addressed drainage and accessibility concerns for the site. Interwest also provided plan review <br />for proposed fencing surrounding the area. <br />Capistrano Villas Pavement Rehabilitation I City of San Juan Capistrano 1 2016: This <br />project consisted of the major reconstruction, grind and overlay, slurry seal, and replacement of <br />damaged curb, gutter, and sidewalk in a residential neighborhood. The project cost is $1.8 <br />million and required close coordination with the utilities and the Homeowners Association to <br />minimize disruption. <br />1.405 Improvement Project I City of Costa Mesa 12017 - 2018: Interest is performing plan <br />review on the City of Costa Mesa's affected segments of the 1-405 Improvement Project, <br />coordinated by OCTA. Our staff have performed plan review of 1-405 corridor improvements <br />Including impacts on adjacent streets, rights of way, Interchanges, and utilities such as sewer, <br />water and storm drains at current design stage level; review of traffic control plans for <br />subsurface explorations; coordination with OCTA and the design consultant regarding project <br />submittal timing, plans, and corresponding review responses delivery; review of plans against <br />current water quality standards within the City jurisdiction; holding meeting with the Design <br />/Build team for project coordination. <br />Interim Public Works Director Services I City of Rancho Palos Verdes 1 2016: Upon the <br />retirement of the City's Public Works Director, Interest was awarded a contract to provide <br />interim staffing in this capacity. Our staff provided guidance and best practices to the Public <br />Works Department including Administration, Engineering, Maintenance, and capital projects. <br />Additional services included attending City Council and Infrastructure Management Advisory <br />Committee (IMAC) meetings; working to ensure that goals, policies, ordinances and codes are <br />being equitably and consistently interpreted; evaluating processes within the Public Works <br />Department; and Implementing changes in consultation with the City Manager. After several <br />months in this position, the City in recruited a permanent Director of Public Works who our staff <br />supported to ensure a smooth transition. <br />Downtown Hotel Projects j City of San Juan Capistrano 12016: In 2016, George, as the City <br />Engineer, was responsible for overseeing the pre -entitlement and developing the conditions of <br />development for two downtown hotels in the City of San Juan Capistrano. The scope of work <br />included: managing the preparation of traffic impact analysis; preparing the conditions of <br />development; and attending the Planning Commission and City Council meetings to respond to <br />questions related to traffic and conditions of approval. <br />The River Street and Farm Developments j City of San Juan Capistrano 12018: These are <br />two separate projects being handled concurrently in the City of San Juan Capistrano. The River <br />development consists of 60,000 square feet of commercial and retail development located in the <br />INTERWEST Page 18 <br />CONSULTING GROUP <br />25F-62 <br />
