Proposal to provide <br />Landscape Architectural Design for Gth & Lacy Park - RFP No, 18.038 <br />Relevant Project Experience <br />Memory Lane/Santa Ana River Park, Santa Ana, <br />California <br />DEA prepared <br />conceptual planning <br />and final design <br />for Memory Lane <br />Park and Trailhead <br />in the City of Santa <br />Ana. The park <br />was designed to <br />provide recreational <br />opportunities to <br />the area residents, <br />general public, and <br />bike & equestrian <br />riders along the <br />Santa Ana River <br />Trail. The pocket park <br />includes a children's <br />play area, fitness equipment, nature garden, trails, <br />bike racks, equestrian hitching posts, picnic area, <br />site furnishings, a dry creek bed with pedestrian <br />bridge, signage, security lighting and landscaping. <br />Year Completed: 2016; Client Name: City of Santa <br />Ana; Contact Warne and Number: Suzi Furjanic - <br />714,571.4241 <br />The Tracks at Brea, California <br />DEA landscape architects and civil engineers <br />prepared conceptual plans and final construction <br />documents for <br />several segments <br />of the Tracks at <br />Brea, a four -mile <br />trail that traverses <br />from west to east <br />across the City of <br />Brea. Segment 3 is a <br />one -mile segment of <br />Class I meandering trail through an abandoned rail <br />corridor. The project scope included work between <br />Brea Boulevard and State College Boulevard <br />and incorporates both hard and soft surface trail, <br />native plantings, site furnishings, and a lighted <br />parking area. Segment 4 is a nearly one -mile long <br />multi -modal trail between State College and Birch <br />Street. The trail consists of separate paths for both <br />pedestrians and bicyclists. The meandering path is <br />approximately 20 feet wide, allowing 10 feet for each <br />use. Segment 2 included soil remediation and rough <br />grading construction. Segment 2 is approximately <br />1,400 lineal feet in length and terminates on the east <br />at Brea Boulevard. The work included coordination <br />with a geotechnical consultant to implement the <br />Removal Action Work Plan, the development of soil <br />removal and rough grading plans, and the N01 and <br />SWPPP. The rough grading plans were developed <br />to incorporate the concept plan prepared by DEA's <br />landscape architects. The project includes a dual <br />purpose trail system, site furnishings and plantings, <br />maintenance vehicle access, and a stair system for <br />access to Segment 1, <br />Year Completed: 2018; Client Name: City of <br />Brea; Contact Name and Number: Roslyn Lau - <br />714.671.4403 <br />Bryce Hanes Park, San Bernardino, California <br />DEA landscape <br />architects developed <br />a conceptual master <br />plan and construction <br />documents for the <br />two -acre Bryce <br />Hanes Park in <br />the city of San <br />Bernardino. The <br />park is located on a busy corner in an underserved <br />neighborhood and includes many of the elements <br />identified throughout the community input process <br />such as a water'sprayground', a skate park, soccer <br />field, open space play, picnic areas, a basketball <br />court, signage, fitness area, a restroom, art in public <br />places, and parking.
