Request for Qualifications for AffordWe Housing <br />Financial Analytical and Advisory Services <br />ORGANIZATIONAL BACKGROUND <br />Firm Introduction & Summary <br />Keyser Marston Associates, Inc. (KMA) is a California corporation founded in 1973 with <br />expertise in real estate, fiscal impact, affordable housing, valuation and Iitigation <br />support, economic development and infrastructure: finance, KMA is a privately held <br />corporation whose shareholders are all principals of the firm, KMA has 20 professional <br />staff persons in offices across the State of California, in the cities of Los Angeles, San <br />Francisco and San Diego. In addition, the firm has a satellite office in downtown <br />Fullerton. The majority of KMA assignments involve long-standing client relationships <br />with city and county governments, including clients throughout the Orange County. <br />KMA provides a complete range of real estate services including maxket analyses, <br />highest and best use studies, financial feasibility analyses, preparation of requests for <br />qualifications and proposals, developer selection, and disposition negotiations <br />including ground lease negotiations. Supporting technical analyses include fiscal <br />impact analyses and the analyses of alternative occupancy options. Uniquely, KMA <br />combines its real estate advisory services with a range of financial planning services, <br />including tax increment projections and verification, fiscal consultant services, <br />projection of public revenues, fiscal impact analyses and economic analyses of <br />alternative land use options. This integration of disciplines allows extremely cost <br />effective coordinated services for our clients, <br />KMA's principals have acted as instructors at the following CRA Institute courses: <br />Beginning and Advanced Affordable Housing; Affordable Home Ownership; Pro <br />Forum Analysis; Components of the D DA; Developer Selection; and Redevelopment <br />Finance, KMA principals have also lectured at the UCLA Anderson School of Business, <br />the UCLA Graduate Scl-tool of Urban Planning, the USC Graduate School of Urban <br />Planning; and the California State University at Long Beach Graduate School of Public <br />Administration. <br />Keyser Marston Associates, Inc.
