Lincoln Avenue Pedestrian Pathway ConnectiNty I Park Lane to Santiago Creek <br />CONCEPTUAL PLAN <br />Once we have conducted our Initial field site visits, <br />finished the records & utility research, completed <br />geotechnloal evaluations, ciarifled environmental <br />requirements, received direction on pathway <br />surface treatments as well as wall and fence <br />configurations, and selected the proposed Best <br />Management practices (BMPs), completion of the <br />Concept Design Plans will occur. The selection <br />of BMPs will be subject to site specific conditions <br />and Tetra Tech will ensure compliance with all <br />regulations and permitting requirements. The <br />Concept Design Submittal Package will include <br />up to five (6) sheets including; two (2) plan sheets <br />depicting the layout of the proposed path, one (1) <br />sheet for typical sections, and two (2) sheets for <br />details. Tetra Tech understands that work on the <br />90% and 100% Final Design submittals will not <br />begin until there is approval of the updated Concept <br />Plan (similar to a 30% P$&E level plan). <br />In order to meet the City's expectations Tetra <br />Tech will develop and deliver detailed Plans, <br />Specifications and Estimates (PS&E) within two <br />submittals. The first one being a 90% PS&E <br />submittal package and the 2nd 100% PS&E being <br />the final submittal package developed at a high <br />level of accuracy ready for project advertisement. <br />Both submittal packages will Include a complete set <br />of plans, specifications, and cost estimate inclusive <br />of the proposed Improvements from each discipline <br />covered in this section. <br />PATHWAY SURFACE CIVIL <br />Tetra Tech will prepare the necessary project <br />pathway surface and other civil and drainage design <br />PS&Es work Including sidewalk and curb ramp <br />work as required for any sidewalk, pathway and/ <br />or pavement work based on the chosen surface <br />treatments and any other updates to the original <br />Concept Plan previously developed by the City, <br />Work will be in compliance with ADA and meet <br />the Intent of any Blkeway Masterplan documents. <br />The plans will include a demolition plan as well as <br />plan view layouts and profile sheets inclusive of <br />Improvements consistent with the findings from the <br />geoteohnlcal evaluation, Typical Sections will be <br />developed for each of the varying path segments <br />as well as details for each of the proposed <br />Improvements. <br />DRAINAGE DESIGN <br />Tetra Tech will prepare the necessary project civil <br />and drainage design PS&Es work including storm <br />drain, swale, BMP, and any other LID proposed <br />Improvements required to properly convey and treat <br />runoff from the project while meeting all regulatory <br />requirements, Work will be In compliance with City, <br />County Hydrology and-1NQ4W standards,7end- <br />The plans will Include <br />findings from the geotechnlcal evaluation of the <br />native soil permeability. Plan sheets, details, and <br />typical sections will be prepared as part of the <br />submittal package. If permeability is found to be low <br />and storm drain Improvements Into Santiago Creek <br />are required, an additional plan and profile sheet <br />along with specific details for connection into the <br />Creek will be Included. <br />WALL DESIGN (OPTIONAL TASK) <br />Tetra Tech will prepare the PS&E package <br />necessary to construct the masonry privacy wall <br />and retaining wall, along with the proposed fence <br />adjacent to the existing railroad. The submittal <br />package will include wall plan and profiles, <br />structural wall sections and details, and signed and <br />stamped structural calculations by an licensed Civil <br />or Structural Engineer in the State of California. <br />The wall will be designed per the current California <br />Building Code (CRC) requirements utilizing the <br />recommendations from the geotechnlcal evaluation <br />for the proposed retaining wall and fence footings, <br />PATHWAY LIGHTING AND <br />ELECTRICAL DESIGN <br />The lighting and electrical design plans will be <br />based on the City's selection of either Option 1 <br />or 2 in the Conceptual Design phase, Tetra Tech <br />will prepare the necessary pathway lighting and <br />electrical design PS&Es.
