Agreement with OCFA to provide Fleet Maintenance Services <br />October 16, 2018 <br />Page 2 <br />Staff is proposing to start the new partnership as a six to twelve month "pilot project" for a total <br />amount not to exceed of $50,000 payable to the City. This pilot project will consist of <br />approximately 60 preventive maintenance service calls utilizing about 380 hours of staff time. The <br />timeframe will provide both parties the opportunity to review and analyze the pilot program and <br />determine if there is a desire to expand the agreement for a longer time period and/or for <br />additional vehicles (non -City of Santa Ana fire equipment). <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />Approval of this item assists the City's effort to meet Goal #6 Community Facilities & <br />Infrastructure, Objective #2, (address deferred maintenance on City buildings and equipment). <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Revenue received from OCFA will not exceed $50,000 and will be deposited into the Fleet <br />Services Miscellaneous Service Charge revenue account (acct no 07510002 53902).
