APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENT AND AGREEMENT WITH SOUTH <br />COAST AIR QUALITY MANAGEMENT DISTRICT LOCAL PARTNERSHIP <br />PROGRAM GRANT FUNDS TO HELP ACHIEVE MANDATED <br />REDUCTIONS IN. SMOG -FORMING POLLUTANTS {STRATEGIC PLAN <br />NO. 6, 21 — Finance and Management Services Agency <br />Mayor Pro Tem Martinez, congratulated City for pursuing grants from Air <br />Quality Management District (AQMD) and Mobile Source Air Pollution <br />Reduction Review Committee (MSRC). Noted funds are being used for <br />electrical vehicles, municipalities providing Electric Vehicle (EV) <br />infrastructure to the public, and encouraged staff to support public EV <br />infrastructure. <br />MOTION. <br />1. Authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the Council to execute an <br />agreement with the South Coast Air Quality Management District <br />(SCAQMD) for AB2766/Mobile Source Air Pollution Reduction <br />Review Committee (MSRC) Local Government Partnership <br />Program grant funds, for the period of October 1, 2018 through <br />June 2026, in the amount not to exceed $385,000, subject to non - <br />substantive changes approved by the City Manager and City <br />Attorney (AGMT. No. 2018-232). <br />2. Approve an appropriation adjustment. (Requires five affirmative <br />votes). <br />APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENT NO. 2019-028 - Recognizing <br />South Coast Air Quality Management District, Mobile Source Air <br />Pollution Reduction Review Committee grant funds in the amount <br />of $385,000 in the Air Quality Improvement revenue account and <br />appropriate same to expenditure accounts. <br />MOTION: Martinez SECOND: Pulido <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 8 OCTOBER 2, 2018 <br />10A-8 <br />
