Homeless Emergency Aid Program Grant <br />November 20, 2018 <br />Page 2 <br />funds will be utilized in the establishment of the permanent Homeless Shelter in collaboration with <br />the County of Orange as referenced in the MOU with the County of Orange to transition the <br />Courtyard Emergency Homeless Shelter to more suitable locations. The remaining funds will be <br />used for administrative oversight of the program. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />Approval of this item supports the City's efforts to meet Goal #1 — Community Safety, Objective <br /># 6 (Enhance Public Safety Integration, Communication and Community Outreach); Goal # 5 <br />Community Health, Livability, Engagement & Sustainability, Objective #4 (Support neighborhood <br />vitality and livability) and Objective # 6, (Focus projects and programs on improving the health and <br />wellness of all residents). <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Approval of the appropriation adjustment will recognize $3,690,885.84 in funds from the State of <br />California, Business, Consumer Services and Housing Agency in revenue account (no. 12218002- <br />52025) and appropriate the same amount to expenditure account (nos. 12218700 -various).
