STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS <br />JASON BARNACHEA ! PROJECT MANAGER <br />Mr. Jason Barnachea has more than five years experience in geotechnical engineering and <br />materials testing. He is engaged in concrete and asphalt paving operations throughout <br />the construction cycle, from initial project review for bid estimation to preparation <br />of final reports and pay factor calculations. Jason has directed the development <br />of concrete mix designs and numerous hot mix asphalt job mix formulas. He is also <br />responsible for development of the Quality Control Plan and addendums necessary to <br />maintain adherence of the project specifications with the changing production plans. <br />During paving operations, Jason assists with Quality Control Management of technical <br />personnel and review of field and laboratory test results. <br />RELEVANT PROJECT INVOLVEMENT / EXPERIENCE <br />CITY OF LONG BEACH ON -CALL MATERIALS TESTING AND SPECIAL INSPECTION, LONG BEACH <br />Project Engineer I Mr. Barnachea served as Project Engineer for the On -Call materials Testing and Special Inspection Services <br />contract for the City of Long Beach. The material testing laboratory services consist of material testing of concrete, masonry, <br />aggregates, asphalt and asphalt plant inspection, soils, epoxies, metal, steel reinforcement, welds, diamond bit coring of asphalt, <br />concrete or masonry, environmental sampling, and testing of soil and water. <br />NOGALES GRADE SEPARATION, CITY OF INDUSTRY <br />Project Engineer I Mr. Barnachea served as Project Engineer for the Nogales Grade Separation Project. RMA Group provided <br />quality control services including the quality control manager, inspectors, and technicians to support the project. Our quality <br />control inspectors provided a full range of inspections including special inspection of reinforced concrete, welding, earthwork <br />and paving operations as well as electrical inspection for signals and rail systems. Ourtechnicians performed field and laboratory <br />testing of soils, aggregate bases, ballast, portland cement concrete, and asphalt pavements. <br />ULCA SEISMIC CORRECTION AND FIRE SAFETY UPGRADES, LOS ANGELES <br />Project Engineer I Mr. Barnachea serves as Project Engineer for the ULCA Seismic Correction and Fire Safety Upgrades Projects. RMA <br />Group is responsible for the testing and inspection of in coordination with the owner, contractor, and additional consultants. Ourscope <br />of work included geotechnical observation and testing of soils, structural steel fabrication, and inspection of structural steel / welding, <br />concrete / reinforcement placement, expansion anchors / epoxy dowels, bolting, shotcrete / gunite, masonry, roofing, fireproofing / <br />firestopping, water proofing, and fire wrap. Additionally, RMA Group furnished drawings, documents, reports, surveys, renderings, <br />exhibits, and other materials for the project as required. The buildings remain occupied and operational during construction and <br />require the coordination and staging of occupants. The work on this project is sequenced and phased and is performed off -hours. <br />PLACENTIA AVENUE GRADE SEPARATION, PLACENTIA <br />Project Engineer I Mr. Barnachea served as Project Engineer for the Placentia Avenue Grade Separation Project. The project was <br />constructed a vehicle underpass at the intersection of Placentia Avenue and the BNSF railroad. As part of the project, the roadway <br />was lowered to separate car traffic from train traffic. <br />KRAEMER BLVD GRADE SEPARATION, ORANGE <br />Project Engineer I Mr. Barnachea served as Project Engineerfor the Kraemer Boulevard Grade Separation Project. For construction <br />of the vehicle underpass the existing roadway was lowered. Temporary rail tracks were built south of the current tracks, while the <br />railroad bridge, retaining walls and roadway construction is underway. Once the intersection was completed, the rail traffic was be <br />shifted back to the original track configuration. <br />GERALD DESMOND BRIDGE REPLACEMENT, LONG BEACH <br />Project Engineer I Mr. Barnachea served as Project Engineerforthe Gerald Desmond Bridge Replacement Project. His responsibilities <br />included QC management, QC test reviews, and reporting. <br />WILMINGTON AVE INTERCHANGE MODIFICATION <br />Project Engineer I Mr. Barnachea served as Project Engineer for the Wilmington Ave Interchange Modification Project.
