0 <br />City of Santa Ana <br />G. Medicare/Medi-Cal Participation <br />Contractor must warrant and represent that they are enrolled providers in <br />good standing in the Medicare and Medi -Cal programs and are not the <br />subject of any pending actions, investigations or prosecutions, whether civil, <br />criminal or administrative, relating to their billing or reimbursement practices, <br />and that Contractor shall not employ or utilize individuals for the performance <br />of services hereunder who have been excluded from any state or federal <br />health care program. Contractor must agree to notify the OCFA of any <br />imposed exclusions or sanctions covered by this warranty and the OCFA in <br />consultation with the City of Santa Ana reserves the right to immediately <br />terminate the Contract upon receipt of such notice. <br />4.3.15 External Medical Quality Control <br />Contractor must fully comply with all federal, state, and local medical <br />standards, protocols, and rules and regulations applicable to the provision of <br />private, emergency BLS ambulance transportation, including those established <br />by OCEMS. Contractor must at all times during the contract term cooperate with <br />the OCEMS program managers and the OCEMS Medical Director in the <br />monitoring, regulation, management, oversight, and administration of the County <br />EMS system. <br />The OCEMS Medical Director, or his designee, has both the authority and <br />responsibility to routinely establish and monitor private, emergency ambulance <br />system performance, including but not limited to: ambulance equipment <br />standards; medical protocols; personnel standards; training standards; medical <br />dispatch procedures; first responder practices and training; medical control; and <br />to effect corrective and disciplinary action as necessary. <br />City of Santa Ana Page 155 <br />Fire/EMS Emergency Ambulance Transportation and Related Services <br />Request for Proposals: # 18-059 <br />August 28, 2018 <br />250-91 <br />
