3. Authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the Council to execute an <br />agreement amendment with Axon Enterprise, Inc, to provide body - <br />worn camera equipment and services for the Santa Ana Police <br />Department, in the amount of $358,041.92 (including a $20,000 <br />contingency), subject to non -substantive changes approved by the <br />City Manager and City Attorney. The term of the agreement will <br />remain May 2, 2017 through May 1, 2022 (AGMT. No. 2018-271). <br />Council discussion ensued. <br />Mayor Pro Tem Martinez, in support of item. Noted item will create public <br />private partnership to promote skate parks and will attract youth to <br />downtown area. <br />Councilmember Benavides, in support of item. Encourages future public <br />private partnership opportunities and to continue to invest in community <br />youth. <br />Mayor Pulido, expressed support for item <br />MOTION: <br />1. Authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the Council to execute a <br />license agreement with East End Realty Partners, LP to construct <br />and maintain a new skate park in Downtown Santa Ana for a five- <br />year period effective on the date of City's execution of the <br />agreement, subject to non -substantive changes approved by the <br />City Manager and City Attorney (AGMT. No. 2018-272). <br />2. Approve an appropriation adjustment. (Requires five affirmative <br />votes). <br />APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENT NO. 2019-033 - Recognizing <br />$10,000 from East End Realty Partners, LP in Parking Operations <br />Miscellaneous Income revenue account and appropriate the same <br />amount to Downtown Enhancements, Building Improvement <br />expenditure account to be used for the completion of parking structure <br />improvements at the 5th and Spurgeon garage. <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 14 DECEMBER 4, 2018 <br />1 OA -14 <br />
