LEMSA Specified Requirements <br />Los Angeles County Emergency Medical Services <br />Care Ambulance Service will submit the updated QI plan that reflects the current <br />processes being used if any changes occurred. This plan will include all requirements <br />specified in reference No. 620 EMS Quality Improvement Program Guidelines. <br />Care Ambulance Service will submit each year to Los Angeles County EMS the <br />following: <br />• Care Ambulance Service will conduct a review of the COI plan and submit any <br />changes once a year. <br />• Provide a list of Ql Committee Meetings <br />• Provide copies of meeting rosters and minutes for the last three meetings. <br />• From the QI Plan submit the current BLS Program, ALS Program and SCT <br />Program indicators <br />• Submit copies of the fallout tracking tool <br />• As an approved Advanced Life Support Provider in Los Angeles County it is a <br />requirement to participate in the TEMIS Data Entry Program. <br />• The QA/QI Manager will provide direct oversight of the TEMIS Data entry <br />process. The QA/Q[ Manager and all personnel who will be performing data entry <br />on the TEMIS system will be required to attend a minimum of 16 hours of TEMIS <br />basic software training and 24 hours of advanced / refresher training per year. <br />• The QAlQI Manager and or Paramedic Coordinator and or SCT Nurse Manager <br />will attend all Los Angeles County EMS Quality Improvement Committee as out <br />lined on page 5 (QA/QI Interface with local EMS Agency and State EMS <br />Authority). <br />Riverside County Emergency Medical Service (REMSA) <br />Care Ambulance Service will abide by REMSA CQI System Policy 7101 <br />Care Ambulance Service will conduct a review of the CQI plan and submit any <br />changes once a year. <br />Care Ambulance Service will submit the CQI Plan and Indicators for review every <br />five (5) years to REMSA. <br />Orange County Emergency Medical Service (OCEMS) <br />The QA/QI Manager and or SCT Nurse Manager will attend the Orange County <br />EMS Private Provider CQI Work Group as out lined on page 5 (QA/01 Interface <br />with local EMS Agency and State EMS Authority). <br />21 <br />
